Same. Looking back on my f14 i could have tried 5h thinner pencil lead. My panels came out a bit to thick and dark. But i was happy with it all in the end. It was my first refinish project.
Wow, what a difference, looks great, can't wait to see her at the field. After doing a test flight for John I discovered how great they fly. I use yellow frog tape and confirm that pulling as you show is the way to go.
Awesome job looks great, question when you did the sanding in the beginning you put clear coat over the model then shoot your main colors I always just clear coat at the end of the project great video😊👍👍👍
I didn’t clear coat the primer. That was just water for wet sanding. I did need to clear coat the panel lines though to protect them. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have lasted through the weathering process and also would have smeared a bunch while handling. When I apply clear and any point, it’s just a light dusting, never heavy.
@@Thercgeek Ok thanks for the reply your workmanship is great can't wait for the maiden if you don't release it before holiday have a Happy Thanksgiving 😊
Another masterclass Chris. Nothing I haven't said to you many times before. I used spray cans for everything only I typically use Krylon. Its so nice seeing tgat we use so many similar techniques but as always you always force me to up my game 😊. Always love seeing your work!
The primer you spoke about taking more than twenty-four hours to cure. I found it takes a minimum of two days before it is sandible. This primer sands very well.
Too backoff the pencil lines you could also try an artists kneeded eraser, you might need to touch it to something like jeans so it isn't full tacky but it would allow you to take off some of the pencil if it's too dark.
This is a cool video about finishing your model. My question is how do you fix your mistakes? We all have had those Aww -Sh1t moments and that would be a really helpful to see how you recover from those moments
Another peace of art :) Great Job! 👍 Although not the worst plane to see in the sky my eyes are asking for another (not silver) paint scheme. So I was planning to order decals for a Red Knight scheme from Callie. But now I will ask her if the decals she made for you are available too. BTW: I love to do touch & go´s and slowly moved the CG more backwards. I ended up 15 mm behind stock with reduced throws which felt perfect for me. If of any interest you find a short T-33 vid on my channel. ruclips.net/video/qFtRc5RhRZU/видео.html Looking forward to watch your Flying Video.
Only one thing left now! Don't forget to grab a copy of my new book here ► bit.ly/TRCGBook

Chris another Great job on the t33
That’s just gorgeous Chris. Nice one buddy. Looking forward to the maiden. They fly so nice you’re gonna love it.
For the Nose layout it might help if you put a temp grid on the nose so you have some reference points for the curve to be compared too.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Great video
Wow, looks great...
