We Indians feel like if we are speaking fast we are speaking well. I am working with British an Australian clients and what I noticed is they hold their breath while speaking and are patient listeners generally. So what I am also trying to do nowadays is to hold my anxiety levels and be a patient listener. More important is that we show we are not in a train rush but giving respect to them and their time. If you will speak slow and firmly you will automatically get the words. Believe in yourself. Also you may take the pauses in between. You are allowed to do mistakes. They won’t mind. They understand well that it’s not our native language.
speaking faster is a personal thing in my opinion. i do agree with you its essential to be in control whilst speaking and have a feel good factor as well. i.e.; enjoying the process

However, it might be worth taking time to enunciate and pronounce words because some native and non-native English speakers may not be familiar with the Indian accent and hence might have trouble catching everything that we say. I have found the same problems with American, British, South African and Australian speakers as well. When they speak very fast their native accents interfere with people's ability to catch what they are saying.

Cambly is hopeless I did a subscription for one month but I can take only one class for a thousand rupees and on top of that you have to make a reservation and it's super hard to get a tutor. So hopeless, I was disappointed!
