Thanks for your review. Please don't get me wrong but what is it with so many RUclips reviews about microphones which have background music? You said you were using the Saramonic mic all the time so I really would like to hear the sound of the mic at all times, without the distraction of background music. Just a friendly observation. As for the UWMic 9 S kit: It has a very serious flaw, that is, is incomplete . You can't use this system for journalism as it doesn't have a plug-on XLR transmitter. I bought the kit with with one mic (which I had no intention of ever using as I would like to live the rest of my life without saying "could you please pass the cable under your clothes" and hook the transmitter somewhere on your clothes? ) because I needed the receiver . I also bought the plug on XLR transmitter for the UWMic 9 thinking it would be compatible with the S system. It isn't . And Saramonic didn't realise a new XLR transmitter. They said they would release a new XLR transmitter. but seeing this review I've realised that this system is over an year older so the system is not as new as I thought and if Saramonic has not released a plug on XLR transmitter by now it's very unlikely that they will ever do it. I had three good reasons to expect the XLR transmitter for the previous system to be compatible with the new S system. First, Saramonic says on their website that their policy is to expand on what they've built. Well , not this time. The second reason is that nothing on the settings and specs of the XLR transmitter for the previous model indicates that it wouldn't be compatible with the new system. The third an most important reason is that I have the Blink 500 Pro X and it is compatible with the handle adaptor made for the previous model, the Blink 500 Pro. The 500 Pro X transmitter fits nicely on the 500 Pro handle adaptor and the charging contacts match perfectly. Going back to the S kit: The case is fantastic, the best case I've seen for wireless kits. Rode could learn from Saramonic in this aspect as Rode is the most customer unfriendly company in the market when it comes to cases. Cases are not a luxury. They are essential accessories. The case of the Blink 500 Pro, for example, is a beauty of design and functionality. Wonderful staff . It's extremely practical , thing that Rode's wireless systems are not. The pieces are really solid and I do prefer built in batteries to AA batteries, for example. And the sound is good etc. Unfortunately, I am sending my kit back for a full refund because it's incomplete. I can't go out with a reporter and record Vox pops in the street without a handheld mic.
Hi Ryan. I'm considering to buy Saramonic Uwmic9S Kit 2 and I watched your review. Nevertheless I have a question: I want to use it for interviews recorded with garage band. When using Saramonic Uwmic9S Kit 2, will I be able to connect the system directly to garage band? Or shall I connect it to my Focusrite Scarlett 212? Or must I connect it only to my camera? Can you help me with these doubts?
What kind of USB charger or powerbank would you suggest to use with those? Would the transmitter and receiver internal batteries support PD? and how many amps maximum?
If attached to a camera and using the supplied cable that goes out from the transmitter to the 3.2mm jack on the camera should the transmitter be set on the stereo or mono? Do both channels have to be on the same frequency?
Thank you for the video! I was looking for the first version and I found your video and now I want this one! Haha! But I don't know if I can find it in my country ...
Built-in battery is a deal killer for me. Rechargeable AAA batts would have been fine. I'm done buying gear with built-in battery. No reason for the weakest component to determine the life and operation of your gear . Good review on a product I'd never buy.

I just don’t like internal Batteries but these look cool
can you connect the receiver with an iphone via adapter without quality issues?
Reminder on ❣️
Hello, Do you think i can use it with the transmetter on a guitar and the receiver on a speaker ?
have you ever tried out the Uwmic15 set? i havent found a good review of them anywhere where they show the noise floor and raw audio from the unit.
ang classic talaga ng intro!
would you recommend this over the Blink Pro b2?
What if internal battery will lose capacity or dead? How can you replace it?
Why are these not on the usa site?
