I love the way you made it your own, and how you showed, and explained, all of the alterations!🥰 Your practicality is amazing, and it takes the fear out of trying new things!😀 Thank you for sharing your beautiful makes and ideas!💖
You are such a good seamstress and teacher. Thank you for sharing all your tips.....so helpful! I did some knit sewing about 30 years ago. You are giving me wonderful instructions and confidence to work with knits again, (after years of quilting). Thank you!
Absolutely love your pattern hack for this one. I originally bypassed this pattern because I didn’t like the waist. Didn’t know there was an additional waistband now. Love it as a summer top!
I avoid crossover patterns because the gaping at the front always spoilt the look. At last you have solved the problem and I can’t wait to do your version, thank you soooo much for sharing 🥰🌹
Love this. The hem band makes this far more attractive than the elastic bottom and I think the band you added around the neckline is so nice.. I did buy this through your link- I’m new to sewing knits so this will be a perfect learning project. Thanks!
Your changes were so helpful! I have some fabric that I think would work well for pattern in a shirt version. I already had this pattern, but hadn't thought of using it this way. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I love it. It looks so pretty on you. I bought It today with your link. I'm excited to make the serenity sweater. Thank you for the video. I enjoyed it and I love your ideas. Happy Sewing
Love your style. I made the original pattern, but thought it was a little short for my figure, so I was super excited to see they added the hem band. I love your thought about the neck band, going to copy that look only with long sleeves (winter in Michigan). This will be a perfect alternative to my tee shirt staple. Also can see me making the short sleeve version this summer.
Last year I still doubted it and didn't buy it during the sale. What can I say, I was annoyed afterwards. And somehow this pattern was always in the back of my mind. Now I saw today that it's available again and I bought it right away. With your link, of course. Thank you for your great video! It's nice to be able to support you like this. 😻
I didnt think i would like this as it needed something underneath, but having watched you this will now make a very nice top thank you for sharing and i will be keeping your tutorial handy for references lol
Love the fabric and the top it fits you perfectly you have made such a good job of the alterations very clever.Do you have any tutorials for altering a slashed neck so that you don’t see a bra strap I am making the Zoe dress and some ladies have said the neck is a bit wide hope you don’t mind me asking.😀
Lifting Pins and Needles The Zoe dress is by Simple Sew it is the first pattern my husband and I successfully printed off😂 I could wear it with a fine top underneath in the winter but I think it would make a nice easy dress for summer but I hate it when wide necks go to one side and show the bra strap especially when you are an old girl ha ha.x
Thankyou Karina, if I wanted more coverage on the front, I’m quite busty. How would I extend it a little more than what you have and still make the top and bottom bits still match up. X

That must be the best, cut, sew, make adjustments and have a top in hours. Amazing!!!😱👍🏾👍🏾
I love the neck band that you added.
Lovely! and so nice to not have to worry about the front gaping open. You are so talented at making things work the way you want them!

Thank you. I am a bit busty,so this adjustment is going to help a lot.

Love the fabric.
Beautiful top with such flattering fit & lots of great tips as always, thanks Karina! Love your channel!
Turned out lovely ❣
Thank you for sharing that hack! I’m going to try it in a light weight sweater that I don’t have to layer which I feel adds bulk.
It's a beautiful top the fabric print is nice too!
Thank you so much 😊

I can see the excitement in your face! Great job!
I’d never made a top like this and I’m happy to find a new style I like :)
Thank you so much for this! I’m going to make a few of these as a staple for my work clothing
Awesome! It’s a super cute style :)
Another fantastic make as usual Karina!!
Thank you so much 😊
How pretty! Looks terrific on you! Thanks for the tips.
I’m glad you liked them 😀
I just received 4 sweater knits. Now I know what to make with them. Pattern ordered!!!
Awesome 👏🏼. All the ones I’ve seen look so nice in sweater knit.
I have this pattern. Thank you for showing me the neckband option. I’ll be making this for sure.
Super simple :)
I didnt think i would like this as it needed something underneath, but having watched you this will now make a very nice top thank you for sharing and i will be keeping your tutorial handy for references lol
Just the thought of layering makes me even hotter so this is so nice. Just on its own :)
Brilliant as usual! Just bought the pattern with the link.
I hope you enjoy 😉
Love this, used your link to order think I will be making the version with the band. Love your fabric it looks good on you, a perfect fit.
Thanks! I have a black rayon french terry that will be perfect too :)

What brand is the Zoe dress you mention?
Lifting Pins and Needles The Zoe dress is by Simple Sew it is the first pattern my husband and I successfully printed off😂 I could wear it with a fine top underneath in the winter but I think it would make a nice easy dress for summer but I hate it when wide necks go to one side and show the bra strap especially when you are an old girl ha ha.x

I’d just extend the crossover to reach the whole side seam. The full bust option would cross over more anyway. Mine is the regular bust option.
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles Thankyou very much, I appreciate it x
I love this fabric. It is not outrageous and would make a wrap dress. 😂
It’s very hard to go unnoticed with this one 😊
