You just got me searching my old stash to make a log cabin I have not done the log cabin in years and this would bring to life some older design materials with a few brighter designs to lift them up ....thankyou 😷👍🌍🇦🇺
I just made two Tilda quilts. Cozy Stripe with Plum Garden, it’s a free pattern on her website and a quilt from her book Tilda’s Toy Box; it’s blue squares and cornerstones with white sashing and a triangle border. I love her new line Woodland.
Hi I found this video on your blog and this is so inspiring for me to use my tilda fabrics. I put then away for a special king size quilt but know what it's time to use them!! so thanks to shere this
Hi, I typically don’t wash my fabrics. I think pre-washing used to be more important back when fabrics were more likely to bleed. If you buy cheaper fabrics at jo-Ann’s and other budget craft stores chances are there will be more chemicals and sizing in your fabric and maybe washing is more important then. Cottons will shrink a bit when washed and some people like to wash their freshly quilted and finished quilts to get a bit of a traditional crinkly look of an old quilt - but that only works when your fabrics still haven’t been washed already. Ultimately it is a personal choice and I don’t believe that with today’s high quality quilting fabrics that it is a necessary step.
Oh, I love this. I have hoarded some Tilda Fabric, and this would be a great way to use them. I need to do this!
How wonderful! Have fun and enjoy the process! I’m sure it will be wonderful 😃

I am so glad! I think we should all use our fabrics instead of saving them. there will always be more lovely fabric...
I realize it is pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to stream new series online ?
@Isaiah Reuben I would suggest FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Ali Leonardo definitely, I've been watching on FlixZone for years myself =)
@Ali Leonardo thank you, signed up and it seems to work :D Appreciate it !
I see that you do not wash your fabric before sewing, so when do you and why? Thank you
