  • Welcome,
    So this is the 202 Harley Davidson Breakout 117ci.
    The motorcycle has been on my list of bike that I’ve loved from the beginning of my riding days.
    This new 117 Milwaukee eight engine, is something that the Harley community has been waiting for a long time to get their hands on and Harley Davidson did not disappoint.
    I would highly recommend taken one of these beautiful motorcycles out on a test ride as it’ll make you weak in the knees!

    ‪@DistinguishedGentlemansRide‬
    ‪@lindmotorcycles‬
    Thank you for your on going support
    Regards.
    EJ

    For me, this is probably the most beautiful Harley machine this year. That's the end of the line. I forgave him all his faults when I looked at him after a long test drive. And it has a lot of flaws in European realities :-) Amazing motorcycle.

    • @ejoemoto

      Definitely an amazing motorcycle and rides so well! I just wished I had the weather so I could’ve seen how well it leans in the corner. But jumping back on my ST afterwards and riding similar road, the fairing on the ST is a winner for me. I took the breakout on a motorway but unfortunately I didn’t film it due to needing to change the battery. Anything above 60mph, you really do get battered around by the wind.
      Thank you for the comment bud, ride safe! 🤘👌

    Gene Kelly liked "Dancing in the rain" , and EJOEMOTO loves "Riding in the rain". Well done I must say in such typical English weather, to making it seem like a sunny day's ride anywhere else on the planet. Credit where credit's due. You did well to show the Breakout's capability in maintaining a decent turn of speed and manoeuvrability on the roundabouts and braking, considering the bike's power, mass, ground clearance, lean angle and steering geometry, which is mostly suited for straight line riding only.
    Did you still experience the cascade of water cascading down that beautiful tank onto the crutch, and finding that opening under the helmet, and onto your neck, before running down onto your chest, on the inside lining of your jacket. Oh, and lets not forget those saturated leather gloves, and the rain and road grime shooting up your your boots from those forward controls. Did you have the bike in "Rain" mode before you set off, and if it had "Traction Control", did that activate at any stage ?
    I liked your video, so keep riding and stay safe.

    • @ejoemoto
      @ejoemoto  Год назад +1

      Haha, thank you John for articulating what we’ve definitely experienced in the past! But in all honesty, I didn’t experience any of that. The spray seemed to of missed the majority of me, you can tell when I rode down that really muddy lane to the view point that there was something coming up and hitting my camera lens but no wet feet or soggy gloves and a thought of me accidentally pissing myself in my older age 😂 there’s no changeable ride modes to suit the conditions and the bike comes standard with ABS (which you can turn off) and no traction control. I’ve found that riding a motorcycle in all conditions without rider modes, makes you more aware of what the bike does in an emergency situation, so you can adapt without reliance on features (not for everyone).
      Green lane riding helped me with confidence and keeping composure in hairy situations.
      Thank you for you comment sir, ride safe and take care! 🤘

    • @ejoemoto
      @ejoemoto  Год назад +2

      So I’ve found something online that I believe it is but I’m unsure enough to not be that confident that it’s the one. I’ll ask next time I’m at the dealership, the specific pipe that’s they use! And I think it might depend on where you are in the world.
      But don’t take this as gospel as I’m not 100% sure on it! 🤘

    that exhaust sounds incredible! i’ve always thought you HAVE to go stage 2 to get these M8’s to sound good, but this pipe might just be enough!

    • @ejoemoto
      @ejoemoto  Год назад

      Definitely agree. I’m contemplating a stage 2 on the ST but I’m leaning towards on not doing that. There’s some much power from the 117ci engine and I wouldn’t want a maxed out engine on the road. If life takes a massive turn and I have all the money, I would! I would customise a bike to outrageous numbers! But alas, my numbers didn’t come in last night, so I’m dreaming on… 🤘 thanks for the comment Eric, ride safe bud!

    I just traded my 2019 BO for a new Blue Burst 2024 BO. The brakes still suck! However, they have added traction control, cruise control, a 5-gal tank, and 117-CI displacement. The best bike in the HD lineup. FJB 🖕🇨🇳
