After much thought I ordered a Ravenna 26. I like the way it sounds, the way it looks, and it is among the most affordable of harps, while offering enough strings for anything I am likely to play.
The sound is so good ! Would you please tell me the brand and model of the microphone for recording?

Hi, ML - I use "classic" Tascam DR-40 - it's a popular high quality recorder with build-in microphones. There is a new model out now called "DR-40X" with a better display.
Jouni Kenttämies It's mainly just an improvisation for testing the harps. But there's a short old melody from Brittany, too. It's called: "Er verc'h Margarited" - I have learned this tune from harpist Anne Postic.
I'm in Europe and Camac is much easier to get, also Ravenna is more expensive. But to me sounds so much better💔 I love brighter and more saturated sound. Odyssey it very decent sound too, but is just extremely ugly, for people who want to play in public or make videos with it it's a massive showstopper🙄🤔
Thanks a lot for this comparison! I love the Camac Odyssey and I'd like to buy it. What do you think about its strings tension, spacing, ergonomics etc? Thanks again, very useful content!

Hi, Norma: The string tension of Ravenna is a bit higher than that of Odyssey. Odyssey has standard Camac spacing of the strings, a bit wider than Ravenna. Ravenna has Loveland levers and Odyssey has Camac levers. / 2013: Note! Now You can purchase new Ravenna 26 from Dusty Strings with Camac levers, too.

I strongly prefer the Dusty's fuller sound.
Beautiful. But to me the Odyssey has the nicer sound. I thought the Ravenna sounded good but the Odyssey just rings so nice.
Ugh....I like both harps...Both harps sound beautiful. Thank you for posting.
That Odyssey sounded beautiful.
I'm planning to buy Ravenna 26. Very nice comparison. :)
Ravenna hands down. It has a more rounded sound
I just purchased the Odyssey by Camac. Both sound beautiful though!
I always prefer DS to Camac, often the camac sound to me it's like a guitar...
Odyssey!
I'm wondering how the Salvi Juno 27 compares to these harp models.
Camac!!
