I’ve lived in Wisconsin for more than 25 years now and I’m still becoming more appreciative of how many different places I can paddle. From the Madison Lakes to the Kickapoo River in the driftless area to the shores of Lake Michigan…. So much to see!
I've never been there...but, the arteries of the lake reminds me of Fox River Grove & Carpentersville on the Fox River. Such a beautiful day to be on the water.
... Yahara Rowing Club was there open water earlier than Mendota Rowing Club would row out of there sometimes early spring Madison WI was a fun place to grow up if one had a canoe/boat
Just discovered your channel. Great trips. I live in BC, Canada and mostly kayak the Sechelt Inlet and Howe Sound. I too , use a GTS Solstice--- Red... named Zama If you visit , give me a shout. Look forward to your videos. Do check out my kayaking videos on this channel
Although I do have an appreciation for them, (especially Horicon marsh) I will admit it is not my favorite destination. Perhaps because there’s rarely surprises around the next corner… Just more cattails! Thanks for watching!
@@Redkayaklady I used to flyfish. Marshes are breeding backwaters aren't they? In The Monterey Bay I see kayakers with fishing rods occasionally. I was a scuba diver, so I've seen the up and the under.

Great video. I made that trip with a couple of friends in a canoe, about 1972. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Our farm bordered Door creek.
It’s amazing how few canoes you see these days compared to 10 or 15 years ago. Seems they used to be equal in numbers.
I see those puppies and i am all in - new subscriber - thanks for the awesome video and the lovely sights!
Thanks for subscribing!
Hello sweet lady in Red Kayak so awesome to see you onthe Water and always a Learning video. Thanks. Gory
Yikes. I hope you didn’t get a notification that I disliked your comment. Hit that on accident…As always, thanks for watching!
Another great video! I lived on Cherokee marsh for years. I need to check out some of the areas you show soon.

Taking advantage of all the beautiful days! Summer is far too short in the Midwest.

Wow what a beautiful day, it’s been hot here in Missouri ( 90’s ) until today our high was 74. Have you all been having nice weather?
Unseasonably cool in Wisconsin yesterday as well. My ideal temperatures are mid 80s and we have had just a beautiful summer this year!
You look perfect on lake Kegonsa. Do you stand up paddle board?
I’ve done it a handful of times. Not a real big fan.
Just outside of Madison
Yes! So many great places to paddle in Fane County!
I am going wherever you go you good looker.
I hope I’ve inspired you to visit some of these beautiful places!
Hello goodmornong. How are you today?
Every day that you can paddle is a great day.
Wait, what? Marshes aren't interesting???? Unsubscribed!!! 🙂 ~ Bucky Badger
