    Be patient and do a lot of running in on the bench. My 200Ti would drop a cylinder in the air until it had a couple of gallons of fuel through it. It is now a very reliable engine. Great video!

      Thank you very much for your comment ! Definitely, I've clear understanding, that Saito's direct chore plated cylinders utilized very hard surfaces, so to brake it in correctly, few hours needed, at least. I also recognize one cylinder drop out, at low idle with longer, than 20-30 seconds idle run. Clawrence Lee, in its test report, also indicate such engine behavior, but this should be eliminated by increased brake in time, I hope.

      Oh, thank you for your comment ! I'm not so familiar with this engine, we have some special relations with it ( later, I'll tell, what's happens). Anyhow, this is a quite unusual engine and I like its style. Really great and genius solution to double the power.

    Best sounding glow engine. 👍 I will acquire one one day.

      thank you very much for your comment ! I'm also think, that the sound of Saito FA 200TI is great, but that isn't the end of the story. It was my first bench stand, placed somewhere in small forest, the place was not know for me, not the stable floor, as it was previously, so a lot of new circumstances were involved into video shooting routine. That could be the reason, why not all things, which I like to share, wasn't fully realized.
      it's just a question of time, so hoping, next weeks will be online again with that Saito FA 200TI.
      Thank you and have a nice day !

    Fuel type?

    • @crazyengines88

      Thank you, great question. Glow type fuel, 80% methanol, 20% synth oil, 10% nitro content.

    • @Orbacron

      Looks like it could be converted to premix with spark plugs and ignition coil packs

    • @crazyengines88
      @crazyengines88  Год назад +1

      @@Orbacron Definitely, yes, for sure ! It will need just few additional parts, as two spark 1/4 - 32 plugs, Rcexl two spark ignition module, engine mounted Hall sensor, and specially designed engine flange with magnets, which are responsible for engine spark timing, of course, small, at least, 7,4 V 1600 ma/h LiPo battery also will be needed. The most rare / hard to find / expansive part is flange with mounted timing magnets.

      Thank you a lot for your comment ! It is true, this engine, being produced in limited quantities, really was seriously increased in its value, and basically, becomes collectors item earlier, that probably the reason of its so high price. There is some "resellers" from Japan, which are rising the pricing to the sky level, but being rare item, it is clearly understandably. I can tell you, that the price for this engine (N.I.B. condition) was approx. 1,2K bucks, w/o shipping on eBay. Some engines, which I was found on eBay, were increased in price approx.on 30-40%, so, this engines are being converted into some kind of a "hard currency".
