This fighter plane is small, fast and very powerful, made in Italy by Leonardo many countries bought it for its special features and it is hard to break down
eloidor two different airplanes ,born on a joint venture program btw russia and italy...in the end came out two different machines one is a ferrari and the other is a lada.
@Pipp08 They have almost the same flying characteristics. The only thing the M-346 has on the yak-130 is the engines, leonardo chosed the HW f124 which is more proven due to its lengthy history being manufactured since the early 1970's, the one choosen by Russia; the ivchenco-progress Ai-222-25 is a product of the mid 2000's. The f124 has 28kn of thrust, consuming 0.78Lb/lb of thrust compared to the 24kn of thrust developed by the AI222-25 with a fuel burn of 0.64Lb per Lb of thrust produced, though in afterburner mode (AI222-25f) they have equal thrust but the ivchenco-progress engine nevertheless is lighter in weight which gives the yak-130 more maneuverability at low speeds under 250kts promoting less stress on the frame and it can Take-Off from unpaved roads. *_My point?_* The Yak-130 is a better all-around airplane, It can be upgraded from AESA radar to Thrust vectoring nozzles due to the fact that the engines were just recently designed with that factor in mind.
Wrong. The aircraft initially was a joint project between Yakovlev and Aermacchi. Eventually the two split off and ended up in completely different jets, supposedly because the funding from Russia wasn't cutting it. The airframes obviously look similar, but what's under the hood is completely different.
@@TLTeo Yes … the russian Part oft the Joint Projekt was the basic Design and after the split, the italien Partner paid for this and change the russian Technology with western
@@TLTeo Aermacchi paid the Russian companies $77 million for the technical design drawings. Both planes look similar and are impressive although the unit cost of the Russian plane is $15 million compared to the M-346 which is $20 million.

M-346 is the Danny DeVito of fighter jets. 😄
It's not a fighter it's a trainer. You can equip it with weapons if you'd like but it's main function was always to be a trainer.

Vertical stabilizer is so big :D
it's a trainer aircraft, stability over manoeuvrability

@@eloidor988 You can add an AESA radar to the M-346 as well.
Yak130
Yak 130, look a like .???
Correct KM ! The Yak 130 was originally co-developed with the M-346 until they went their own ways with seperate development. Thanks for watching.
M-346 are much better because it can reach transonic speed while YAK-130 only subsonic
Muito bom, mas a EMBRAER tem um projeto muito melhor e com o mesmo custo por horas de vôo.
