I live in Colorado, a mile above sea level. Sometimes in the early summer I can see massive clouds go over our mountains and turn into these massive supercells far out east. I wish I could show you the pictures I have of these clouds but I knew deep down when I saw clouds that huge, it had to be severe somewhere within it, that’s too much mass up there, all that water vapor. Some of those clouds are so big, they reflect this golden light right back at us and the clouds are this glowing orange color and time just stops.
I am so thankful I moved away from Tornado Alley, Minneapolis, MN thank God I live in Phoenix, Arizona, everybody should live in Phoenix, Arizona if you want the nice weather without tornadoes

I watched online from the safety of Australia. Having been through horrific bushfires, I have an idea of the terror but not every season. All I could think of were the unprotected animals. However, it's dreadful to see this destruction. Thinking of you. Will donate online, all I can do.

There seems to be some trend where people on Twitter and Reddit are posting news stories and tornado videos from the recent storms in a “highlight” video format, as though they’re someone’s sports accomplishments. Outright celebrating the death and destruction. Much like they did during the Texas winter storm a few years back. It is absolutely vile.

Getting hit by a tornado in tornado ally or Midwest is highly unlikely. And where do you go to the west were wildfires run rampant or Arizona were it’s 120 degrees in summer. Maybe Florida and hope a hurricane don’t get ya.
