@@macy.schmidt If you are in NSW go see Bungonia National Park . It is a 2 hour drive from Sydney . There is a turn off from the Hume highway and before Goulburn which will take you to the national park . If you love canyons etc , visit there and do green yellow or red track . It is amazing but the red track is more difficult and rated as a 5 . Adjacent to it is a limestone mine but once the lease to mine is finished , there will be no more mining there . Thank God it is now protected . Hire a car and go hiking there . Look at some videos and then go do it .

The Australian bit sounds like a decent plan, and visitors generally love New Zealand.
Good luck with your other destinations. I hope you gather many happy memories in your travels.

Definitely very excited for the rest of our time in Australia and considering doing a second year but maybe New Zealand this summer!

It's good to know the things you'd love to do if the opportunity should show up. People can look down on 'day-dreaming' but it's an important way for us to set priorities in our lives. I would still love to do the overland track in winter in Tasmania, heard so many good things about it. I traveled a lot when I was younger and can't believe how much cheaper it was compared to today, anyway, happy trails !

I want to do the overland track too! Why in winter?

@@macy.schmidt One friend did it with her own group - it sounded a bit brutal - but she said it was a great challenge and loved doing it in the snow (lot of snow that winter). I love the snow, downhill and cross country a lot in the past. Didn't mean to 'push' it, the springtime hike would be magnificent as well.

I am fairly certain there are flights to Argentina (to get to Patagonia), from both Australia and New Zealand, if you considered traveling via there, when you head back home from this part of the world. Keep on with your travel and your dreams, and I look forward to watching many more of your videos about both of them, oh and by the way I don't know if you have ever considered the movie or documentary making business, but if you have! from watching your last two videos, I think you should seriously consider it.

Wow thank you so much 🥲 videography is super new to me but I’m having a lot of fun playing around with filming and editing. Patagonia really would be a dream!

I wish you the best of luck with all your travel plans. There is a local bloke in Tasmania who has a You Tube channel where he explores the local wilderness and I think you would find his videos very helpful for finding places to go that are off the beaten track, his channel is @Rob Parsons (I know same name as me but not me or a relation to me) he hunts down gold and gem stones as well and has some considerable success at this (maybe you could find enough gold and gems to pay for your other bucket list destinations, lol, you never know!)
    Here's a link to his channel. www.youtube.com/@Rob.Parsons/featured
I hope you find it useful. Cheers Macy.
