It doesn't require a driver windows 10 and 11 detect it as a standard pc input device I'd check and make sure you have a data cable not just a charge cable connecting it :)
@@WTFRCCars I got it yesterday, turns out it doesn't need any batteries at all, full power is supplied via USB and it works quite well. It is just a normal USB 2.0 port I'm running from and it supplies enough power (at a max of 5W it should be fine). The unit itself is turned off, it auto turns on with the USB cable installed. I'm pleased with it sofar!
Looks like a good controller for gamers (I'm not). The G7P must have some negatives beside the not padded steering wheel somewhere.🤔 I've seen an optional foam padded one is available though. Thank you WTF RC!👍
It's hard to find issues with it for the price there's nothing that come close to it, the nb4 and pro wheels fit but they stand out future than the stock wheel
I've never had a surface transmitter that didn't have a foam covered steering wheel. But, I really don't think it would bother me not to have a foam cover. If it did, I would buy one of available foam covers and glue it on as some have done. Glue It on due to the taper of the wheel, and it wanting to slide off otherwise. Surely Flysky will have them available soon too. 😀
Thanks for this video, it influenced my decision to get the G7P, it's a great plug and play option. Do you know how the Windows calibration for the Z axis, and X/Y rotation is done? I can't seem to work it out on my G7p.
Great playlist you made on this controller seen all videos in one day
Yeh it's taken time but people seem to like it :) and thanks 👍
does the mini joystick work for inputs on pc? not the steering wheel or throttle but the mini joystick on top?
It would if you map it to a channel I think, it needs a way to trigger a button action I'll have to try it
Thanks for the vid, I just found vrc-pro and almost said goodbye bc my ps5 controller wouldn't work and the usb dongles are non existent now
Yeh the G7P works fin for vrc pro :)
Do you have a driver link for this? My PC doesnt detect it as a controller.

@@WTFRCCars Never mind, I followed your firmware update fail video and everything was fixed. Thank you!! Such a big help!
@charlieringor4187 no worries glad ya sorted it :)
Hey hope you read this. When in pc game controller mode, does it charge or receives power via USB as well?
Yes but make sure the usb port and cable can supply enough power or you will need to keep an eye on your battery else you will drain it totally
@@WTFRCCars thanks! I`m playing around with some rc physics. ruclips.net/video/v2oZENGrPZs/видео.html

Yeh the G7P does sorry I thought this comment was on the nb4/pro vid :)
Can you do a video on how to connect the flysky cable to the radio cause mine won’t fit.
The G7P is USB C so any usb C cable will fit
@@WTFRCCars for vrc pro?
@@WTFRCCars thanks I figured it out.
Yes so long as it's a usb c data cable not just a charge cable :)

I would think there will be loads available soon it's the same fit as the nb4 and pro and the absima version comes with foam too

You have to assign ch 3 and 4 to dials on the G7P and than you can calibrate them I believe
Brill xx
can it war thunder
Technically it's will just work as a game controller so will work with any game lol
