  • The Fairmont Austin is one of the newest hotels in Austin, with its grand opening in 2017. The hotel boasts a Forbes four star rating and has won countless other awards. I have always wanted to stay in a Fairmont hotel and I managed to get this hotel at a very good price and promptly booked it for my trip. To put it shortly, my stay here made me rethink every other hotel review I’ve ever given. The service, attention to detail, and experience were all well beyond expectation, and there was not much to dislike about the hotel. Compared to both other hotels I have stayed at in Austin, this one is a huge improvement and there’s not enough positive things I could say about the property. The only downsides to staying here is the $50 overnight parking (70 for valet, ouch), and the fact the room does not have a useable mini fridge unless you pay a small fee for the minibar to be swapped out.

Incredibly fancy property. Btw, it's been such a long while and I'm aware your birthday is coming in one month. So I have something coming up for you for this day.
Again, it's good to be back to watching your new content

I might be staying at the Dallas Anatole for the Christmas stuff. Trying to decide which tower to stay in.

Personally I recommend the Jadewaters tower since it is newly renovated and overall nicer than the atrium side, but both rooms will still be nice and up to Hilton standards. Do note there is a bit of bias though since I do work for Hilton so take it as you will.

@@Anatole2201 As long as the elevators are not saucy (history of getting stuck) I will go with the taller tower.

With larger hotels generally they are planned out and built to accommodate a full house every night, meaning you get more elevators, front desk workstations, and bigger restaurants that are all overkill for what's needed. The Anatole is no exception, there's never a line for the elevators, and ever since their mod they've never been better.
