You are an amazing woodworker, Grandfather and comedian! I just found your channel and subscribed after watching you make chairs. Could you please describe some of the wheels you use on your angle grinder. Your work would sell for hundreds of dollars here in the USA. Also, what type of wood do you mainly use and if it has small cracks do you fill them? Thanks for sharing your talent with us beginners!
And of course, being a carpenter, grandfather and seeing fun in the world are important things to me, thank you for acknowledging. I make these angle grinder wheels myself. The wheels on sale are too stiff and do not bend well according to the curves, so I make them by gluing sandpaper to plywood discs. It's cheaper too. And I use polishers with about 3,000 rpm, not angle grinders. To make the sanding disc more flexible, there must be gaps between the sandpaper tabs. I use alder for wood. In my introductory video, I explain in more detail why I use alder. And really, I glue the cracks with urethane glue. It is, of course, a minus that the gluing site remains visible. However, in the general visual picture, and also in terms of the preservation of the wood, in my opinion, gluing full of cracks still makes sense.
I agree,just found this channel, I'm amazed at his relaxed way of working, enjoying his progress and accomplishment.. I've very recently retired and look forward to trying to duplicate in my own work some of his techniques.. I would love to understudy with him .. Just because of his love of life
It is basically an aqueous solution of brown dye. Sorry, but I can't say exactly what it is, it's the secret of my production, this color matches exactly the tone of the old wood what my furniture is. In fact, I process wood twice with this solution. The first time I really sand it off completely, the brown tone comes in handy here to see that it is still sanded everywhere. The second time I don't sand it completely, I leave it a bit to match the shade of the rest of the wood.
Thank you. I use pva glue for clothes racks, glue residues are easy to clean. I use polyurethane glue in furniture, it fills gaps in swells and is weatherproof. For finishing I use "Teak Oil", a good balance of price and quality. Oil wax for top finishing.

Yes, I think so. Reality is not real without comedy. So I was aiming for that comedy attendant reality. But, offcase i'm a carpenter not a film maker, so i feel my efforts in this are amateurish. Still, fact that you notice that, is great recognition to me. Thank you. By the way, swing is a very good tool for contemplation.

Im a little bit tired of perfect furniture that was made all same and with plywood, so it bends very quickly. im starting as carpenter myself, making cutting boards and trays, its very interesting to me. i wanted to put hammock in backyard but never find time for that. here on Balkan is still chilly, but first day od summer im putting that :)

Но самое главное, что при таком способе, как у меня, древесина должна быть мягкой, чтобы соединения хорошо стыковались между собой.
