None of the hearsteel members used playback, its live during their single parts. There was backing vocals in the closing of the song but the main vocals were live.
@@widepeepohappy5563 Mako later said in an interview that he couldn't handle the stress because he was so nervous and that he drank a bit to calm down a bit but apparently it was a bit too much Heard that back in 2018 tho so I am not 100% sure if this was just rumors or real
The kung-fu dancing feels a bit like a mosh pit but overall was a fun ceremony that didn't take away from that true center, the series between T1 vs WBG.
The best part for me today was that caster Jun was announcing the players from both teams together. We all know how many ppl would have cheered if he announced the wbg players solo
The person who I believe that is supposed to be the player wanting to go pro / go on a journey to higher levels could've been done without tbh. But regardless as a performance overall it's good! I actually liked the 2021 opening ceremony a ton outside of Lil Nas costume (yikes imo). And I hold that one to preview players and introducing them to the audience. I hope that continues
@@beyonddivinity7076 I was there in person, maybe I was biased but the visual effects made so much more sense than this year and it felt like it made more sense together. last year wasn't the best year but better than this year
@@AJ1703 You're right. I forgot about 2019. That belongs in the top 5. I think either 2017 or 2018 is my favorite. 2017 has the best use of technology and 2018 has the best songs.

It's poetic that Mako redeemed himself here like how T1 and Faker redeemed themselves
Honestly
biggest surprise of the finals
it wasn't his fault even on the original performance but i am glad my man had his redemption arc
😅
wellcome to werld no Herows and Vilanes 😔
Editor forgot to edit his phone out of the reaction 💀💀
Nah man when the blonde hair guy says “HIGHER AND HIGHER YOU CHASE ITTTT” TOO GOOD 9:14
The best world song finally have a worthy opening ceremony to go along.
Lmao
Mako's performance was super redeemed on this... i think he knew the problem and he made sure he comes back strong
2019 remain unmatched, the best by far !
Agree w yamato, it was a sick show, just wish Riot could learn to mix the sound better lmao
cmon man they’re an indie dev company with such limited budget 🥹
Ya the sound depth and quality wasn't impactful enough. it actually didn't seem loud enough and lacked despite the show itself being good.
Riot monkeys too busy nerfing the wrong champs, for a billion dollar company there's 0 excuses to have poor sound mixing
All I’ll say is it was perfect live
Cmon man give them a break theyre a gaming company 😅
I understand riot wanting to go with playback after what happened with rise live lmao
Edit : Ok he redeemed himself here
what happened with rise live?

Ninguno uso playback puedes ver los detrás de cámara o los fancam y verás que todos cantaron en vivo

Yeah not a big fan of every year's interpretive dance. Feels extremely out of place every time, like it doesnt seem to embody the world's spirit
NONE of the HEARTSTEEL members used playback and THEY ATE IT ! So proud of my boys and BAEKZREAL NAILED IT ! 💚💜❤💙
GODS has really grown on me as a song.
Bro that Leona ult one-hit Mordekieser 😂😂

Baekhyun EXO is the best ❤
NewJeans was just amazing! *-*
Visuals were great but the audio was really lacking on the stream
They need to make ap leona work lol
They really really don't. Imagine a control mage that's tanky and has cc on almost every ability. Fuck that.

This is a good opening but 2017 still the best one
chinese get out~!! 😂😂😂
Thought last year was better
Last year was easily one of the worst lmao 😂

Worst
weakest opening ever
Definitely one of the weaker opening ceremonies. 2014, 2017, 2018, and 2022 have the best opening ceremonies.
people were saying 2019 was best and you did not even include it, and I gotta agree as well on the 2019 one that it was so good.

2019 has the best use of technology, 18 and 17 have the best Songs. 22 had cringe Songs and visuals idk why anyone put that anywhere near a top Spot
I hate this shyte, atleast put more hot chicks in it. 2018 opening ceremony was the best.
nah
