WOW! What an amazing video! I knew NOTHING about Prince of Persia before watching it. I mean, not literally, but compared to you, it feels like nothing. Thanks for sharing, and also for mentioning my channel at the end! I didn't expect that. :) The final boss is kinda like the Evil Witch from Superfrog. You're going through this amazing game, facing many challenges just to beat her, and when you get there, she's sooooo easy. It's disappointing. ;)
Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you liked it and found out new things about the game. :) I did already know some things from all the times I tried to beat the game and I learned a lot too while making the video. And you do deserve the shoutout. :) Oh, Jaffar is kind of an evil wizard himself. :D I think that if he were a combination of the guard that never advances and the big one who is very skilled, with a wall behind him, then he'd be an appropriate challenge. It would be almost impossible to switch sides with him to finish the fight quickly and most players consider the guard who doesn't move as the most difficult to beat.
Back in the early 90's, I was the last kid in my block to get this game. Little did I know, from watching my friends play, how dastardly difficult this game could be (mind you, I wasn't very good at it), and I became very frustrated not being able to even get the sword on my first few attempts, even though I knew the first level backwards. I don't think I made it past level 4 back in the day; those chompers both stressed and terrified me.
Everyone was playing this game here too, even my parents. I also had a lot of trouble with it back in the day and those chompers are actually still pretty stressful. :)
The fat guy was the fun one to fight :). Nice video.
He was one of the most challenging indeed. And thank you! :)
