There was a short-lived sitcom in 1999 called Payne, with John Larroquette, JoBeth Williams, and Julie Benz which I always thought had decent potential. It lasted only 9 episodes and I remember thinking it was pretty funny at the time, despite being received poorly. I do like the shoutout to SeaQuest, even if it didn't make the list. Really liked that one.

John Larroquette had a BUNCH of stuff in the 90s. None of it did well. I tried to find ANYTHING on the list for this (especially the John Larroquette show where he plays an alcoholic) and all of it is MIA! If you have a lead, let me know!

You hit on The Pretender, which my wife approves of. She really misses that show.

Thank you SO MUCH for bringing up Millennium...! I loved that show, own the whole series on DVD (which is awful to get, now). Lance Henriksen is underrated in this show, in my opinion. I really enjoyed it, weird twists, turns and all.

@@farvithianguard Yeah, Millennium and The Pretender were the two shows that really inspired me to do this video

@@TheEclecticGoat I do agree with Lance about the later seasons. While I did still enjoy them, they really went in an entirely different direction. Apart from Lucy (the one who killed Detective Blecher), the supernatural had been very ambiguous and the Group very defined.

    RIP Forever Knight

I really struggled about whether or not to include that, or Kindred. Kindred was definitely the less-appreciated show though, so I decided that Forever Knight would join seaQuest in the sequel, if people were interested in one

The 90s was a wild time for TV. I remember Aeon Flux the first time I ever saw it. I was like what the hell is this?

I dare say Kindred the Embraced is a cult classic among the children of the night, available on DVD. Overall, it is a dark dive into the vampire world with musical clips from Interview with a Vampire. , For a vampire show from the 90's it was solid with a slew of actors and actresses, I really enjoyed this show but the tragic end to Mark Frankel in a car accident really put an end to another season. Julian Luna will live on as the prince of San Francisco

I hadn’t heard about the car accident, just that it was cancelled without even finishing the two scripted episodes. That’s sad

I think it could have been, certainly. I think if they redid it today the new abilities with special effects could really help. Of course, men can’t defend women’s honor anymore so… 🤣
