I'm just stopping for a minute to say hello and as always tell you all how much I appreciate you and love you! Talasbuan day is always the best day but we are going through a more difficult time that usual, being hit with one thing after another, so your video showing up today is extra special! Your videos are calming and joyful therapy for me. I hope you are all doing well! Love from Teri in Michigan❤😘🥰
I think the chickens would be a lot less stressed about their new quarters if they had a floor of sorts under their roosts instead of wire mesh. Firstly because chickens detest an up-draught when roosting, and also, watch how the two who did get down are carefully picking their way across a beam rather than set foot on the mesh. Dropping eggs from where they are sitting also points to stress or a reluctance to jump down onto the mesh to go find a nest
Hi there
I was thinking about your concerns of the coop . A few suggestions . The birds are too heavy to jump onto that big open chain link wire floor . I suggest you go with a smaller wire weave so they can fly off the roost and land comfortably . For now lay some wood panels down on your wire floor .
Some chicken breeders will make wooden slat floors . A 1”x2” slat set up .
If you have any mink , weasel or martins in your woods they will climb in thru that open chain link too and kill your chickens . You Might try during this cold laying flat wood paneling for now so thier feet don’t get to cold
I echo the previous comment. You two are amazing parents. I pray for your continued success and safety. God bless.
Soooo good to see you!!! Ivar is getting so big and so handsome! I love to see him try to problem solve with you! Have fun with that trampoline and “we’ll see you in the next one!”
Here in the US, there are a lot of people who have children that have outgrown their trampoline. To make good use of it, they turn the trampoline upside down with netting around the sides and let the chickens “free range” underneath the trampoline. It moves easily across the yard and gives shelter from the rain and hot sun.
My favorite part is 00:00 - 47:51. Perfect movie after work, now I'm calm down and ready for sleep. Ivar's laugh is contagious.
That's my favorite part too!😆👍
@@jntd4160yes! Hello 👋 from Poland and rural life! ( channel)
The editing in this one was fantastic. Love the "chicken saga". I love the long format but it's tough to wait so long between videos. Your blissful simple life is so attractive to those of us who live in the city.
It's wonderful to see Ivar enjoying the trampoline! He is so adorable. All the best for a good transition to Spring! ❤❤❤
If there ever were a regal looking dog, it would be Malva in the closing clip. Absolutely gorgeous!! ❤
Ivar has really grown! So has his sense of humor... loved the open mouth and smile, waiting for pudding. He's a beautiful child. ❤
I´m Finnish and understand what is Mämmi. It is so good. Nice whatsing your work and your live.
Give a hug to your lovely dog more often in the videos. He is waiting for this. Thank you. Your chickens love the piece of liberty. Stay save.
Greetings from Germany.
The chickens can't walk on wire. They need some boardwalk ways. Bottomless moveable hen coops sit on the ground until it's time to move the coop and retractable wheels come out to roll. Hope Ivar likes his trampoline 💜
I love seeing that beautiful little guy with his dad...and at the end you and the dog....such awesomeness
I was so happy to see a new video to watch with dinner. Thank you for sharing your family and happenings at Talasbuan.
Your dog is so beautiful and seems to have such a peaceful demeanor!
Jamaica 🇯🇲 here blessings good to see the family that young man 👨 is sure growing and handsome and intelligent you and his mom have been doing a wonderful job congratulations and please continue posting these wonderful pictures
Amazing cinematic opening sequence.
I love Ivar's laugh. 😍
Yes! And his beautiful smile that goes along with it!

@@jntd4160 hi :0! If you like rural life then welcome 😁 over
I'm so happy to see Ivar got his birthday trampoline. Love watching your videos. God bless
We had a large trampoline when I was growing up. Every day was spent doing back flips, forward flips, games and just passing the time on the trampoline while the weather was good. It was one of the best parts of our childhood and enhanced our athletic prowess across a number of disciplines.
I just realized that a little guy who doesn't weigh much needs a springier trampoline! Special consideration for children! Ivar sure looks like Tova! Thank you for the videos.
Ivar is looking so grown up. Still a sweet boy though!
Wow, those chickens make quite a racket. I have some Swedish flower chickens. They are so pretty
No better sound than that of a happy laughing child
Beautiful intro. 🛸
I think having a mobile hen house is an excellent idea, but I do think you must look at this as a prototype, an idea that you can improve. Maybe you can find an old used trailer base for an affordable price? The wheels should be on the outside, not where the hens can get caught in the spokes. The possibilities to move it will be even greater if you have some sort of brakes on the wheels to deal with slopes. As some one else commented, the chickens do need a solid floor - which would probably make it easier for them to find the small trap door. The eggs are gold in your diet, so worth improving the chicken house. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us! Fun for us, hard work for you!
How Ivar has grown! Thank you very much for this video 🥰
Trampolind is a great thing but PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANYONE UNSUPERVISED!!!
I love trampolines too, but it really should be one at a time

Hi there, thanks for the video again. It's always great to receive a new video from Talasbuan. 😊 Beautiful views, cute, Evar, and splendid news from you all. Love the videos🎉🎉🎉🎉Greatings from South-Africa. Melinda
I z Polski pozdrowienia ❤
Very, very interesting. Always wanted a chicken coop, but always had the question on how frequently you have to maintain it clean. From Puerto Rico.
How is Tova? She is not her usual self. Hope everything is ok and give a hug from me. Lisa from Lappland, living in Portugal
Egg-cellent video! Thanks for posting. Who knew that chickens could be such hard work? The wagon does look like a marvellous solution, but I guess the chickens will need to get used to it, and forget about the old coop. I just worry that a fox will find it very easy to squeeze under that fence.🦊
Love to you from Minnesota!
Enjoyed watching both kids enjoying the trampoline 😜. With love from your friends in Australia 🇦🇺
The chickens at 30:00 minute mark were funny😂 interesting how the rooster was the first one out, he probably couldn't take it anymore 😂 watch the film chicken run- it may provide you with comedic relief🙌
It was nice to take a drive with you to the village. Ivar is lovely! Have you resolved the school issue?
Loving the family bonding and working together.God's blessing always to you.
Awwww 😎😃 flying through the air sun shining ⛅☀️beautiful!
Happy birthday, Ivar. That trampoline is cool.
Glad to see you eating mämmi - greetings from Northern Finland!
Ivar is growing up so fast! Handsome boy! Happy birthday!
Beautiful openings of gorgeous scenery! Ivar has grown up . Sending sunshine and warmth from sunny island ... Singapore :))
Flying chickens aren’t funny 😅 I learned years ago, that you kan use a sissor and cut feathers from only one ving. Then 9 out of 10 chickens will stop entering the fence 🤞 good luck! I enjoy every video from your beautiful area and your beautiful people ❤️
If you want to keep them from flying over you need to clip at least one of the wings.
Ivar is not a baby anymore! How about that cute little side-wise look? . . . What a magnificent trampoline! I have a 40" Cellerciser (small trampoline) indoors... still fun at 80 years old!
Wow god bless your son looks like mum and dad so much beautiful😊
Hello Ivar..am your fan from Philippines
It s so marvellous to see all those trees. Thank you so much.
Ah, chickens... I'm sure they'll settle in to their new home! The trampoline is fantastic.
42:35 that sound like the Sandhill Cranes we have in north america. Cool.
Thanks for a lovely chicken on wheels adventure, it was interesting and delightful
Ivar is so grown up now, i qatch alot of homesteading videos here in the USA, they all gave nesting boxes in them. They all have wood floors. Their feet dont like open mesh. Just a thought. Take care everyone .
Looks like Vegemite which is yeast extract in Australia😊
I could not help laughing a little when they moved the chicken wagon down the road with all those stressed birds clucking away with their obvious unhappyness about the move.
Pro tip: buy a battery powered light to put inside the chicken tractor. We use LED string lights that are powered by 3 rechargeable AA batteries. It has a timer and goes on the same time daily and then turns off after 3 hours.....have it turn on 1 hour before you want them to roost at night....the light will lure them inside the coop. Add a ramp up to the small door. I couldn't see what you have exactly. After a week, they will be used to going into the coop without the light on and you can remove it. We use this method when training 2-month-old chicks to use the new coop. Do you have many hawks there? We have too many to even use the mobile electric fencing....Hawk flew over twice today while I was outside with them....
If you want help building your chicken tractor...watch the latest vlog from Lumnah Acres. They are building new ones to replace old ones. Easy and hopefully cheaper. Wishing you all well.
Oh man, I’m so excited about the next episode! What a cliffhanger!!
The opening footage was so beautiful! Now I would like to try memma. Thank you for sharing the beauty and the hard work.
Such a beautiful video.
I pray that your new coop on wheels works well for you.
You do work so hard.
Ivar is growing so fast! He's such a sweet child. 🤗
ML from Texas country.
You can cut the chickens' wings. Love watching your videos.
It is hard to teach old chickens new tricks.😅 Great vlog as always. May will bring green grass and new adventures. Thanks so much for sharing.
What a handsome couple in the end Tove.
Matthias and Malva...you must be so proud!
No worries 😅😂 they will get the hang of it. ❤❤ my chickens always go crazy when I change things . It takes a few days
it looks like there is a constant struggle.. i wonder way..vibes are bleak, ivar is only happy camper in the family.. all the best and best wishes for better days ahead. love always ❤❤❤
I love to watch Ivars joy on the trampoline. I think you're doing a good job with the chickens. Trial and error but to me it's so far so good.😊❤️
This might be weird, but you have the most soothing voice. I wish you read stories to us xD ♥ much love!
I think Mathias is having as much fun on the trampoline as Ivar, as he should. Enjoy!
I think so ^^
Gratitude dear friends for this beautiful video again. I find that Ivar had gown and matured a lot in the last month! The adventure with the chickens is interesting in terms of learning process. I'm sure that they will accustom to it and soon all will be well. Keep courage, dear friends. Sending loving high vibes to the three of you as well as furries and feathered ones 🙏💙💙💙

A lot of people do use chicken tractors in the United States. I guess it's trial and error to see what the best materials to use. Every child loves a trampoline, even adults love to get on it with their kids. Love your videos always look forward to the next one.
I can advise you on setting up an apiary. Contact me if you want.
Greetings from the apiary in Poland
❤ God Bless
Have fun on that trampoline Ivar! My sister bought an Olympic size one in the 70's and it was the best thing ever...have your Dad or Mom give you ,"The Bounce" sometime! Basically they time the moment you hit the mat and push down with their legs and you go really high!
Those are the loudest chickens I have ever heard haha, especially when they are protesting haha.
Thank you both for this! I have really been getting anxious for the next video. Surely you are both very busy and not having lots of time to make these videos. How's the windows coming with the new house ? Of course i am asking these questions before finishing the video.
Looks like the chicken coup works good.
Trevligt video, Ivar såg väldigt glad ut med sin nya trampolin..
Hälsningar :)
Kan det inte vara risk att räven kommer om hönsen ska vara så långt bort från huset ?
How I would love a "Chicken Cam" inside the tractor so we can see their reactions to being moved 😊
The chicken need their feet on the ground or hard floor, they will never like the mesh. I know what you were doing to get the droppings to go straight to the ground with no work for you but that is not the way the chickens see it.
The chickens are excellent in showing their utter displeasure😂👍
😂chicken shit….shit happens😂
Blessings+++!!!
HOORAY you're back!❤❤❤
Can we see your inside the house routine and meals.
Have chickens will travel!
Most beautiful RUclips channel... my favorite ❤.. it's my dream life.. which you are living.. always loves to see you ..
Beautiful!
🙋👍
Hi , just saw this ... " affordable , portable chicken coop" on Black Spruce ' channel - youtube .
It's fantastic how you can be so happy by jumping a trampoline 🤩
I love it so much! ❤
I laugh so hard, you were eating "mammi", only real Finns do that =), I love it, get it sometimes here in Florida too, Greetings from South Florida, only 90 F today;o), you, guys still have lots of snow in there, what level North Sweden are you?? Close to Uleo??, I am from Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi, but lived here in South Florida, Lantana, since 1985 =0), cant wait you guys get your bigger Cabin, Log House done, you need more room, it will be so much more comfortable !!
Hi Mathias,Tova and Ivar and also your beautiful, sweet Husky( can't remember his name or her name). Such a wonderful video and the drone footage as always was amazing!! Sorry this comment is coming out a day later. We are familiar with the chicken dramas and things that can go wrong. Our neighbors have free roaming chickens and they come to visit us everyday. Predators are around here, we look out for them and the chickens safety. Hoping the chicken wagon on wheels works out for you all.Its a great ideal.Loved seeing Ivar and Dad having a great time on trampoline!!😊❤. Thank you for all your hard work that goes into making these videos. We appreciate you very much.Tova we know you can't wait to start your planting. The hardest working couple and Ivar we've seen. Love from North Georgia Mountains USA ❤
🙋♀️❤️
Hej hej! I got a question. In my country (Turkiye), roosters start tweeting with the first lights of morning. They are oldschool alarm clocks. I wonder what happens with longer daylight or nordic long nights? Do they get up and sleep according to daylight, or do they have a life rhythm more clockwise without considering the night light/daytime darkness?
How do you manage not to crash the drone into the trees, gorgeous intro! I loved (love) trampoline as a child, many fun times ahead for Ivar and family. I've followed you since before Ivar was born, just realized. He's growing up so beautifully with gentle Mama and Papa.
Equador, yup, I think I might like the weather there more than your eternal snow😅 As it is, Pennsylvania seems just about right the longer I live here.
Ivar is such a joy, always laughing and having fun.
❤❤❤❤
