  • Medical Coding review on the musculoskeletal system. This would correlate with chapter 8 in the AAPC CPC curriculum. I cover the overview of CPT and ICD-10-CM codes, a little bit about bones and muscle, key concepts, and then cover a few sample cases.

      @@ContempoCodingon the first case study, in a real-world situation, not an exam scenario, how would I have come up with that W code? What would I look under in the alphabetic index to find that? How would I even know that there would be a code for that that I would need to look up?
      (Your videos are wonderful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!)

    It took 8 DAYS to completely BHAT that section for my wife, Holy Lord. I'm a budding doctor (3 months to go!) and a passionate teacher. I love the way you teach coding, especially how you validate and even encourage students to find CPT codes in different ways that they may not have realized were just as intuitive as using the index.

    Thank you Victoria! I will be taking the CPC exam in two days and have been watching your videos, that have been incredible. Do you have any tips on how to actually set up your books on the table when taking the exam? I have been taking all my tests prepping for the exam via computer and using the carrousel you have and recommended, and I love it! But I am not sure I can take the carrousel with me during the exam and I want to make sure I don't lose time moving my books around a lot. Thank You!!!!

    Hi 👋 prepping for my CPC… Is there somewhere on any of the books where I can find root words? If not is it allowed to add some root words + definitions in the notes sections?

    • @ContempoCoding
      @ContempoCoding  3 года назад +2

      I don't believe so, but sometimes there's hidden gems in the HCPCS book depending on your edition. There might also be some great blank spots there for additional notes.

  • @honeybee6674
    @honeybee6674 Год назад

    can you do a lesson on all the scopes and operating microscope. It does not always tell you when to add these or not.

    great job could you explain what does it mean to start from the head to toe in this video

    • @ContempoCoding
      @ContempoCoding  3 года назад +1

      Yes, the order of how they appear in the CPT book goes from the head down to the toes. So if you look in the chapter index it start with the head and the next section after that neck, down to back, spine, etc and then down to the toes.
