Damian Wilson is an excellent singer and a totally independant artist who needs some support. He's recently done two studio albums plus a live album with Adam Wakeman with mostly piano and acoustic guitars, some very good songs. He sang on many albums, for various bands and projects, two being the more famous by Arjen Anthony Lucassen : Ayreon (on Into the Electric Castle, for instance) and Star One (on all tracks with three other singers, two albums), on 4 albums of the very good British prog metal band Threshold (over three different periods). He also did some solo albums, with beautiful songs of his own, beautiful orchestrated. check out his website
Great song (the album version is some 13 minutes long) out of one of the most underrated albums ever - it's my best album of 2016 -....... Please go on and make new music too!!
Threshold already writes great songs but it seems Headspace takes full advantage of Damian's voice by writing better songs specially tailored for him. This album is harder than the first one to get into but the band obviously didn't take the easy way out. While still the first is my favorite, All That You Fear Is Gone is obviously much more of a band effort.Good job
Wonderful song. My favourite bit is at 2:00. What a gorgeous part, but the whole track is amazing. Gorgeous voice. I have heard him in threshold and here. Does he do any softer songs with this style. He is excellent in the metal tracks, but I want to see more of a range.
Yes, it's an edit, the actual full version on All That You Fear Is Gone is over 13 mins. Had to cut it down for video, but if you like this, the full version has even more mayhem. Pete
+Armand Delaville thank you very much glad you are enjoying it. Funnily enough when your msg bannered on my phone it cut the word discover short and said "the edit made me disco" which although not the desired effect was cool none the less . Pete
+Victão Lopes hi mate, it's a Kiesel Vader 8. The strings are locked with screws where the headstock would be. The tuners are at the bridge end, it's a really lovely guitar. And very green 👍🏻
My quick take - seems to start out a bit disjointed, but then coalesces together (actually, like the imagery towards the end of the video). May take a few more listens to gell for me.
I maybe alone here, I saw Headspace at Ramblin man festival 2016 I was expecting probably too much, they were going to be my prog saviours on a very Prog light day. But in all honesty I became John Peel and it was a waste of talent and electricity. I was shocked at my thoughts but to me it had no coherence almost Prog by numbers no soul?
Pretty awesome song *.* I would just wish the singer knew when to stop singing... A few instrumental passages would be nice to "rest" the lyrics. Maybe I'm getting used to that bad habit with Haken or DT...
I could tolerate this if it wasn't for Wilson's voice. I know some people rave about him, and there's no doubt he can hit the notes. He's got great pitch. But just because you can hit some really high notes doesn't mean you should - he often gets into dentist's drill territory. And he suffers from a bad case of metal-singer's disease. I.e. the chronic inability to finish a phrase without adding piles of overly wobbly vibrato. He might be really good if he visited a voice coach. But for me - he ruins this music.
This is why I love prog. You'll never know what to expect. Suspense all over it.
Absolutely a pure delight!!! I wish they'd still play together, they are a very talented group of musicians!
Damn I love his voice.

I'm absolutely addicted to this album!
Man who writes the lyrics for Headspace and Threshold? Whoever they are they are absolutely brilliant.
6:02 As a huuuuuge fan of that part.. That cut hurt a lot. On the full song that part is masterful!
SIM adorei o arranjo musical desta música nos eleva a um lugar tão longe e tão perto ão mesmo tempo. Parabens a HEADSPACE. BOA SORTE SEMPRE
This band is something big. I'm glad I know about them.
Oooooh, like what I'm hearing here. Flew under my radar but I'll be looking out for this one, matter of time before I'll have the cd.
What a melody from 1:58 gorgeous!!
Great song (the album version is some 13 minutes long) out of one of the most underrated albums ever - it's my best album of 2016 -....... Please go on and make new music too!!

Nice to see a Kiesel Racing Green Vader 8. Sounds killer.
6 min version ?
Special video version ?
Yes, it's an edit, the actual full version on All That You Fear Is Gone is over 13 mins. Had to cut it down for video, but if you like this, the full version has even more mayhem. Pete
+Pete Rinaldi Great edit though ! It made me discover the band and the album. "Semaphore" is awesome by the way !
+Armand Delaville thank you very much glad you are enjoying it. Funnily enough when your msg bannered on my phone it cut the word discover short and said "the edit made me disco" which although not the desired effect was cool none the less . Pete
Is the album version longer? Cause I remember it being 13 minutes long on Spotify. Great music btw. Found them out yesterday :D
Yes, it's shorter clip version.
Love you Mr WILSON.
Hopefully someday they will be invited to Cruise to the Edge!
Does anybody know what model the beautiful acoustic guitar (to be seen from 2:00 onwards) is? Thanks for any hints!
It's a 1936 Epiphone Olympic. I love that guitar, really cool sound. Thanks for watching the vid
Pete
+Pete Rinaldi Thank you very much for your answer and your music!
+Pete Rinaldi Hey Pete, I don't know much about guitars, but... how do you tune that green one? I mean, I see no pegs...
+Victão Lopes hi mate, it's a Kiesel Vader 8. The strings are locked with screws where the headstock would be. The tuners are at the bridge end, it's a really lovely guitar. And very green 👍🏻
I had to google this to get it to come back.
👍👌
♥️
Um I forgot this is Rick Wakemans son and then I realized why it's so good 😁🙏🏽🎹
threshold vocalist?
+episode 666 no one Yes. Damian Wilson of Threshold, Maiden uniteD, and solo work. :-)
This song becomes more enjoyable at 1.5 speed
+Stabby Raccoon
You written many songs then ?
Ah i get you
+gogolplex74 I don't agree with you.
+gogolplex74 At 1.5 speed the beginning sounds like a Mars Volta song lol.
Haha spot on Zilrrac
1:28 ARGGHHH MY EARS!
what country are these guys from ?
Robert Greer the vocalist is British, and the keyboardist, as far as I remember, is from UK as well. They are the founders and the only authors
We're all British, except Pete Rinaldi on guitar who is originally from Australia.
2022: Damian Wilson on Arena prog band
this song is doubtless great, but the instrumental part is fucking great!
1:25 Judas soliloquy in Jesus Christ Superstar
с первого раза не понял .. буду слушать ещё
понял, збс, плюсую
05:13 :D
My quick take - seems to start out a bit disjointed, but then coalesces together (actually, like the imagery towards the end of the video). May take a few more listens to gell for me.

Not David Hasselhoff?
Pretty awesome song *.* I would just wish the singer knew when to stop singing... A few instrumental passages would be nice to "rest" the lyrics. Maybe I'm getting used to that bad habit with Haken or DT...
MAKE NEW MUSIC, BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
music is perfect but the video is weak af
Threshold is better.

+Steve Vaughan
I take it you're also not a huge fan of Jon Anderson then lol.
Robin williams sounds awesome here
You fucking idiot.
That IS funny! Sounds like someone is pinching Robin's eggs!!
I'd say between Robin Williams and Russell Allen.
