Yes, my friends would tease me and call me a virgin but one day I jist told them "SO WHAT I'm proud of it! not many people can say that" I felt so proud! theres many temptations but I knew that I wanted to save my first kiss with my first boyfriend, I've had plenty of dates but I also made it very clear to them that even if were on a date that I wont hold their hand or kiss them because I'm old fashion you gotta be my bf to kiss me (generally speaking) lol I'm 21 almost 22 and I'm still a virgin. only had one boyfriend. Don't be afraid to wait it will be worth it be proud of it!!:)
I'm almost at the same point you were at (I'm 19) and I used to be so ashamed of not being kissed and whatever else. I never dated in highschool or middle school and I'm a college freshman now and I honestly just haven't liked anyone at my school yet so I haven't dated this year. But I'm not ashamed because I know myself and what's right for me... Completely agree with making sure to have that first time with someone you are comfortable with. ALOT of awkward embarrassing things happened my first time and the only reason I didn't breakdown crying and dash out of the room was because of my supportive bf. My first time wasn't so bad. It came kindof naturally. My boyfriend and I were watching a movie in my bed and were making out, and then he asked if I wanted to, and it just happened. After we finished, we just continued the movie and then he had to leave. The day after, we just kept on as normal. I think this is very important. My experience was just plain sad and regretful. i'm not really a relationship type person, and so my virginity was something I just kinda wanted to get over with but I still made sure I trusted the guy and I was comfortable with him. the key to sex is communication and trust and if you don't have that then sex might be bad. as for my first time, I wanted to get it over with even though none of my friends or anybody was putting pressure on me, I kinda put it on myself, I just wanted to get it out of the way so it would stop being such a big deal to me. but my first time wasn't bad at all because I trusted this guy and even though there were no feelings there, I trusted him and it actually didn't hurt that much, just the first minute but then it was fine. again I stress: COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

I think it's great that you did this video, because my first time was actually not great at all.. my "boyfriend" at the time who was much older than me just pushed it a lot and eventually i kinda gave in, i felt like i didn't have the right to fight it. I think young girls should know that they can always say no, because i now know how important that is. I totally agree with you on waiting. I didn't and it was, and still is, the biggest regret of my life. I feel sick of anxiety when I think about it and when I get flashbacks from it. I was 15 at the time and I was in a deep depression, I wasn't myself then. I couldn't think straight and I didn't want to, even though I thought I wanted to. Even now, 2 years later, I still regret it. I wish I could take it back but I can't. I always says to my friends (that haven't lost their v-card) that they should wait for their body and for the right guy. I mean, I didn't even have a relationship with the guy and I didn't even know him that well. But for me it was just another way of hurting myself and sex is not a think you should use to hurt yourself with. So if you're reading this - please think twice before doing it. My family is very old fashioned and would never agree with it. I guess you can say my mom is a little less old fashioned than them, but nonetheless she still has that mentality. When i was 14 my friend told me that i'm weird cause i haven't kissed anyone yet and everyone else thought the same...can you believe it? i think it's ridiculous...i didn't want to kiss anyone at the time or even date anyone i was too young. I'm 18 now and i still don't feel ready to date someone.

lol thats how I felt when I was your age! but i'll be honest the whole it will come natural is crap. It will only come natural if you truly like the person, but if you don't and the guy wants to, you will feel uncomfortable and awkward. push back, walk away, or whatever. You advice was so good I hope many young girls realize this because this day in age 12 year olds are losing it because it's the "cool" thing to do. I don't believe that they know what that special connection can be with the right person. These kids confuse love for affection and that's not okay. I hope they can see that they deserve better.
My experience was just plain sad and regretful. Now that I think of it, I wish I could jump back in time and tell myself a head of time, I lost my virginity at 14, with a guy I thought I was in love with. When it was happening I told him I wanted to stop but he ignored me and continued. After he was done, he jumped off and left, only to call me and ask if I can give him some money to buy sonic, mind you my birthday was just a few days before, so he took my virginity and $50 dollars. Next day at school he told everyone I was hoe and we had sex, so for the rest of my years in school, everyone called me a whore, so I'm returned I acted out. I'm 25 now.

i'm not really a relationship type person, and so my virginity was something I just kinda wanted to get over with but I still made sure I trusted the guy and I was comfortable with him. the key to sex is communication and trust and if you don't have that then sex might be bad. as for my first time, I wanted to get it over with even though none of my friends or anybody was putting pressure on me, I kinda put it on myself, I just wanted to get it out of the way so it would stop being such a big deal to me. but my first time wasn't bad at all because I trusted this guy and even though there were no feelings there, I trusted him and it actually didn't hurt that much, just the first minute but then it was fine. again I stress: COMMUNICATION IS KEY!
and it wasn't awkward at all especially because me and him were really good together just as friends and I don't regret it one bit

I literally love how you handle yourself. Something horrible happened to me and I was blamed for it when people found out. The first thing my best friend asked me was what I was wearing and if I was drinking and from that point I knew it was going to go down hill from there.

I think it's great that you did this video, because my first time was actually not great at all.. my "boyfriend" at the time who was much older than me just pushed it a lot and eventually i kinda gave in, i felt like i didn't have the right to fight it. I think young girls should know that they can always say no, because i now know how important that is. It's probably going to be awkward no matter what so it's best to do it with someone you really do trust.

I totally agree with you on waiting. I didn't and it was, and still is, the biggest regret of my life. I feel sick of anxiety when I think about it and when I get flashbacks from it. I was 15 at the time and I was in a deep depression, I wasn't myself then. I couldn't think straight and I didn't want to, even though I thought I wanted to.
Even now, 2 years later, I still regret it. I wish I could take it back but I can't. I always says to my friends (that haven't lost their v-card) that they should wait for their body and for the right guy. I mean, I didn't even have a relationship with the guy and I didn't even know him that well. But for me it was just another way of hurting myself and sex is not a think you should use to hurt yourself with.
So if you're reading this - please think twice before doing it. Maybe you'll regret it for the rest of your life like I will. Take care of yourself.
I'm happy now though, I have a boyfriend that I love to death and he's just the perfect guy for me and we have been together for over a year now.

I remember since I was 16 i told my self ill wait till 18, but it never happened. When I turned 20 all my rush had gone and I didn't even though about it any more, that's when I met my actual bf and did it 2 months later with no doubts in my mind. I think it's important for young women (and all women) to know that their sex life is their business and if they choose to wait or choose to have sex at a young age or whatever, it's all up to them! If they attach a lot of value to it, great, if they don't, great. I've seen so many people on RUclips say that virginity is SO important (which is silly in itself because virginity is a concept created by men that doesn't mean a whole lot) but this video is nice!
I`m glad u don`t really care about the pressure put on you. Who cares if you are inexperienced in that department, that`s something to be proud of. It takes guts and strength to be a teen/young adult and not give in to pressure.
My best friend just had sex for the first time. She's 15 and now she's pregnant. She refuses to accept the truth even though she's done 5 tests (all positive) and her period is like 2 months late. She refuses to go to the doctor or tell either of her parents or her older brother. I know she doesn't believe in abortion. She never has.
