@@chansrubberduckie6127 i've heard it tho, and i understand why he's not fluent even if he was born there. it's bc he lived there until he was like 5, so it's very possible that he doesn't remember the language well

Yağmur well if you want the word for word translation it’s “my poor little son”, cuz “-ito” gives the word a diminutive meaning, but if you want the general meaning it’s what bangtan suga said, “aww my poor baby”.

@@RedCappuccinoASMR hmm I don't think there's an exact english word that could explain nunchi perfectly but it's somewhere along the lines of sensing? Like being aware of the situation, reading certain social cues, basically reading between the lines in situations and being able to react appropriately.

Jae is in the period, where he keeps flaunting about his old age and keeps on acting like an ahjussi.
They said you will inevitably come to a point in life where you really start to feel the generation gap. You start “unrelating” to young people. No one stays young forever, no matter how much people say age is just a number. Though time is never in a hurry but it is always moving, hence there is always something new taking place, if not, even being replaced. But this is not such a bad thing because this is also what makes life beautiful. When nothing lasts forever, people learn to value the present. Even if time is always moving, it doesn’t know how to go back to the past.
Fleeting. Fragile. And constantly changing-life.

wow what he said at 0:46 is true though- Spanish is so rich with words it's-- rough (I'm Latina) and i still struggle. speaking Spanish is one thing but- writing and reading is like a whole new level :(( i felt that when he said about parents talking smack about him and not understand since I am trilingual, i just learned English 6 years ago but before that my parents would say stuff about me in English and i wouldn't know.

I don't think it's about age. I'm 22 but I probably know most internet language. My sister is only 2 years older but she doesn't know anything at all. Like any internet inside joke even if it's something like thanos or pepe or smth she will be like who? Like I can tell her a song slaps and she will just be like huh? Anything that becomes hugely popular she tells me about way after it's dead. She doesn't even know what tik tok is yet
@@editazilinskyte3681 I can agree with you, but even I (who is younger than both of you) am in the middle when it comes to slang. I am aware of some things, but I highly doubt I know as much as you do.
I think it's more about exposure (like you said). I just got sad because Jae's whole audience are Youths (at heart and mind) and 2. I get upset whenever people who are still young down themselves for being "too old and unrelatable". It kind of drives me nuts - but I'm probably thinking too deeply into it.
@@MrsLadyPerez I don't think it's putting themselves down. If anything not being in all the kid trends is more relatable. I mean there basically a gap of 12-18year olds that are in charge of what's popular with the teens. Everyone else is an adult. It is very normal and even more relatable to not know what teens are up to. So whenever someone says they are to old for the trends they don't mean boo hoo I'm not a teen. They mean I am an adult and don't know what the kids are up to.
