This movie is very emotional and psychological.
It's not your typical feel good love story, but it is a love story.
Saw this film yesterday. Incredibly moving, great work from actors Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell and director/screenwriter Andrew Haigh.
Where did you watch it? Streaming?
Played in theaters here in the U.S. First time: mediocre large-screen projection, very clear sound; second time (a smaller theater): excellent projection, audio less clear. Hoping very much that Criterion will issue it on DVD (as withHaigh's earlier films Weekend and 45 Years) with commentary and subtitles!@@Leonardo-dw6cf

how many more movies about two white cisgender gender forming people are they gonna make? is no one tired of the same two people falling in love in every single romcom/romantic movie
Tired? No, I´m not.
Nahhh it was incredible and moving and relatable on so many levels. Loneliness, parenting, not fitting in, love lost, imagining happiness.
We absolutely need more diversity in queer/all films. There has to be more than Moonlight for us.
