The pace you cover things is the best anybody could ask for. There are so many people that make their videos so complex you can't get the information down. I wish everybody would cover subjects like this.
I'm about to do a 150cc project. Bought a branx new crate motor, didn't realize it was a short case. My long case was basically obliterated before I bought it but the whole scoot was $100 so no biggie. I'm about to take the the whole front half of the new motor off and put it onto the long case transmission. Wish me luck 🙏
Right on man hope it goes well. While the motor is out consider a big bore kit. I'm very impressed with mine on a 50cc but a BBK on a 150cc would HAUL ASS! Just a thought.
@Andys_Auto it started as a 50cc...a scrap yard dog held together by electrical tape and zip ties lol. Then I found a better frame and body that was going to be scrapped and rebuilt my 50cc motor into an 80cc. Then that blew up so I found a 150cc with a blown out body from a wreck but the motor ran. So I chopped the motor mount off that frame and welded it onto my 50cc frame. It's been a long journey with this scoot, I probably won't BBK it just yet. I'm on a budget so everything has to stay stock for now
@@thethinkingtreefrog8061 I hear that. There is a guy with a RUclips channel Trevor Pritchett I think it is. Check his channel out. He did the exact same build you are doing. 50cc chassis with 150cc motor. In case you run into any issues his videos may be of help to you.
So I just bought a 2019 wolf rugby about 2 weeks ago and other then a little bogging down it ran pretty fine but now it won’t start I thought it was my bendix after taking the cover off because it just fell out but I noticed I don’t have a plastic cover on my fly wheel and my fly wheel is too loose and the bendix can’t reach it to connect unless I push it back is there anything I can use to temporarily hold it in place until I get a new plastic cover
Well I bought the clutch in variator kit and I put it on I bought the scooter from my boss which probably was sitting in the barn since 2015 when I took the variator up the damn rollers weren't even there they were all the way down to the metal I can't even believe I was driving it so I put the new clutch on an variator and took her for a ride well it was only going thirty miles an hour so I got home and it smelt like the belt was so I took it apart and I took three rollers out cuz one of the videos said it would make it go faster on take off and it did exactly what you said just rev higher can I put another roller in making it four rollers or put all 3 back in to make it 6 and what else can I do I've been up two days trying to make this thing work
Definitely use all 6 weights. 4.5 gram weights are ideal for 50cc but 4 gram and 5 gram are fine too. You can find the weights pretty much anywhere online
@@Andys_Auto I mean I put a new mattress new clutch cable new clutch and variator kit high-performance carburetor I'm getting the original airbox this morning I'm getting a lightbox handbrake on the 13th I fix all the lights cuz they weren't working this thing had to be sitting in the barn cuz of mice chew the wires for the the dude I work with some time he knows you did to it runs strong it's a zummer 50cc with 4000 on the moter it doesn't bog no more corsola Smogon cuz of variator was so shot I can't believe I was even running

You didn't touch the gearbox and it's Nota church drum it's the bell
That's not a transmission rebuild. Those are clutches and a belt. You didn't even touch the final drive. This is basic maintenance
That in not a rebuild
Please help if you can thanks
