my theory is that minji ended up falling for the guy, the reason minji and hanni were arguing/talking was because hanni was afraid that they would get exposed if minji or hyein got to close to the guy

My theory is--All of the members are Aliens came from the Bunny Planet, and now living on earth but hiding their true identities from humans.
Danielle works as a weather broadcaster. While she was on a field there was flying object flew over her head. She didn’t surprise because she knew it was actually her friend, Haerin, who’s flying around on a zebra unicorn.
I think Hyein seems to be the only one who somewhat forgot that she’s also an alien. And she’s in love with human.
Hanni argues with Minji that she should keep an eye on Hyein or their cover will be blown. That’s why Minji always tries to interfere whatever going on between Hyein and the dude.
Minji and Hyein sort things out on the deck of the boat. Minji warns Hyein not to have an emotional attachment with human, because they will eventually leaving as soon as they found out the girls aren’t actually humans.
In the end, Hyein (the Bunny) understood things. She took off her rabbit mask and reuniting with her friends up on the bunny spaceship.

yes 8:27 is super important as i beleive it shows haerin accidently using her powers causing everything to cut out/shut down.. then her and minji rush out to get away as i think this might be the moment their powers got exposed.

thats what i was thinking and thats probably why minji was "stealing" the boy from hyein so hyein would stop liking him and dont have the risk of revealing herself and the members.

its a metaphor for idol life.. idols are not 'normal' people... and cannot just go and date someone like us 'normal' people can... it could eventually lead to them not focusing on their duties as an idol and in extreme situations could even split the group .... minji we 5 are 1 is saying we cant afford to lose/leave behind Hyein. Newjeans is us 5 not 4
