Took an hour and 15 minutes but Sajam managed to get Gerald to crack a joke back. I love it. It was really special seeing Gerald get more comfortable over stream especially considering how composed, funny, and compressed his commentary is on his videos.

So weird watching this a year on, but with two of my favourite people in the FGC it's still a great watch
Yeah thats the thing about watching podcasts that talk a lot about current events. Makes it weirder to watch with the knowledge and hindsight we have now. I was glad they talked about evergreen concepts and fundamentals of the FGC to have that to take.
i have plenty of content creators i follow, but this is the first episode of a podcast i've ever listened to from start to finish.

The only other podcast I regularly listen to is Castle Super Beast. I'm really glad this podcast finally started, especially now of all times.
Whataburger is a decent fast food joint, but at the end of the day.. its still a fast food joint. I'm from Texas and I love it, but even I can admit there are better places to go. Its maybe like one of the top 5 best fast food burger joints.
The main issue is that the burgers themselves are the worst thing to get at Whataburger imo. Even bacon can't save those burgers, and they always put way too much onion unless you specifically tell them not to. Anything Chicken is pretty high tier though. Don't forget a cinnamon roll and onion rings for the side, that's the secret strat. But of course, this is all just my opinion.
Also, I do realize I watched a video for an hour and 30 minutes, yet this comment is about a topic they touched on for barely 30 seconds. Don't judge me.
What a great way to start a podcast. This gets me excited for the future for the series.

So the whole rollback crusade started because Sajam decided to yell about it on stream since he couldn't play games after hurting his hands playing on hitbox. Which if you think about it Hitbox started the crusade and not Sajam. So I guess we can truly say hitbox is saving the fgc.

Some of the arguments and commonly repeated opinions are aggravatingly stupid, to the point of absurdity. Need someone to lay the hammer down in video form to shut these clowns up.
Yes. As a fighting game player, I wish they understood that it was a regular thing for us and is used as a tool to improve. They also assume skill is absolute like enemies in a RPG region. If they said that stuff in a fighting game, they'd be called a scrub.

I will NEVER buy GrandBlue even if its the best FG ever made. As long as you buy delay based netcodegames we will never get GGPO as standard, how can't you understand it. Do the sacrafice and stop buying delay based netcode games until Japan devs understand that there is only one correct way to do a netcode, then buy whatever you want guys ...
