You're incredibly Bob!!! Waiting for ten minutes only to show us an American truck❤ Thanks a lot. You don't pull the plug easily in terms of teaching us
Good morning Bob, I haven't heard the phrase " to plug away " so far but I know " to pull the plug ". It is used here when a company or person owes money to a bank, and the bank loses faith in said person or company and they decide to pull the plug and cancel the loan. Btw you're right about the trucks , in europe a tractor trailer combination is limited to 18,75m length 2,5m width, 4m height and the weight limit is 40tons (with exceptions of course😉). There are some north american trucks on european roads but they usually haul shippingcontainers or sand and stone where the trailers don't need to be that long to get close to the 40to limit. Have a nice weekend 😎
Hi Bob! 🖐️😎 I agree with you that when you want something to happen, it doesn't happen. For example, when you wait for water to boil, it seems like the boiling time is getting longer. It's like water knows that we are waiting for the water to boil and doesn't let our expectation happen at that moment. American author Adam Fawer attributed a character to water in his book Oz because of this feature. Although Oz was not as good as the author's first book Improbable, it was enjoyable to read. (I think Oz was completed by the author upon the request of his publisher in Turkiye and published only in Turkish.) Anyway, it's great that some feelings are universal and when someone voices it, they realize that others have common feelings. Thank you so much for this unique lesson. Have a great day! Bye 👋😊🌹💐♥️
I haven’t noticed that there is a difference on the front of the trucks in Europe and Northern America. I’m really enjoying learning something new from this short English lesson channel, so I won’t pull the plug on this. Thanks, Bob.
Trucks? I have a pleasant memory of trucks. Once I met a truck driver in Los Angeles who offered me a ride to Texas there and back. It was a nice trip. He carried goods and I was amazed to see his punctuality in driving backward and pulling close to the building in order to get loaded. I will look out for your steam, I am at home cleaning rosehips. Have a pleasant weekend ❤!
In my childhood, when ee didn't have a car, we used to be given a lift to our country house by trucks. That was fun. You've triggered some memories, man🤝 Have z nice weekend!
Hi Bob, thanks so much for this short lesson, these two words were new to me. Never thought about that trucks in Europe and America\Canada look different 😊 I really appreciate your filming outside, makes it so much more interesting. Hope you have a good weekend to come😊 greetings from Germany Sabine
I noticed that the road's somewhat cracked and has potholes. it feels like if the trucks pass over it. they could potentially cause further damage to the road. the public works department probably needs to address that issue before it turn into problem. thank you bob. keep it up
It happens to me all the time. When i want stg to happen or occur it will never come to pass. When i dont it is sure to happen. When i am indoors it is sunny outside but when i step outside it starts pouring down, as an example.😊😊
You've just reminded of the reports we plug away at in the end of each semester. Familiar?😁Sweating over them, huffing and puffing😓. It was fun to watch u chasing trucks))) And, as for the things happening when u don't want 'em to happen, well this is Murphy's law in action😉 Enjoy your weekend,Bob🌈
Thanks for showing is a few trucks, i'd like to add some information about this: in Europe they have much lower distances between cityes and much more turns in them, so it is pretty hard to drive long distance trucks that's why trucks in Europe are not allowed to be so long. In Australia they even have things we call автопоезд (truck-train) which can include even a few wagons that conneсt to only one trucktor.
❤ thanks teacher Bob. A sad exemple of pulling the plug is when nothing more can be done on a patient and you let him pass away. Is that use of the idiom pulling the plug correct?😢
"Cooper: What's going on Murph? Murph: Why did you and mom name me after something that's bad? Cooper: Well, we didn't! Murph: Murphy's law?!" Then Cooper goes on to explain what Murphy's Law actually means! Aleksey, have you seen the movie Interstellar? If you haven't, you really should. Watch the cornfield chase scene and I'm sure you'll be intrigued. Totally worth the 3 hours!🛰🌽🛻
@@mohdags420 Haha 😊. Yes, Murphy's Laws work. Let's look at the second one. "Everything takes longer than you think." Did anyone think Bob's short lesson would take more than 4 minutes? It definitely works, whether you like it or not.
What did you do to pass the time during those ten minutes, Bob? Did you walk up and down the sidewalk or stroll around the parking area? Or did you just sit in your car and (maybe) listen to some music? I don't think those ten minutes were enough time to treat yourself to a pizza at Gino's 😘. But maybe a pizza slice if they offer one. Anyways, thanks for the new lesson, Bob. Have a nice and ,above all, relaxing day. 🚶♂️⌚️🍕
Teacher bob! I like your videos it’s really helpful! You are my internet english teacher!

Hi Bob! Can you make a short video on how to use 'suggest' and 'recommend' in English?

thank you teacher for your hustle. you finally did it.
I've never noticed this difference between American trucks and European trucks. Really interesting. Also, thanks for the video, as always.
Well done

Hi Bob, thank you for your patience to show us 2 more trucks.

demonstration effect 😂 Thank you Bob for patient!!
And I saw you in Vanessa's video 👍
I hope you are all right - you did not mention about the Friday's stream but I didn't find that.
Thanks for that video ❤

Thanks a lot for the lesson, Bob! And when is that new movie "Bob the Canadian Chasing Trucks" coming out? The trailer looks really good 🚚💨😎
Bob hails from Canada, Ian hails from Scotland.
Hi, Teacher Bob. What would you generally call situations like the one you had with the truck? Murphy's Law?
"Cooper: What's going on Murph?
Murph: Why did you and mom name me after something that's bad?
Cooper: Well, we didn't!
Murph: Murphy's law?!"
Then Cooper goes on to explain what Murphy's Law actually means!

I see we have the same approach to job-I don't have to work at it quickly.

We have to plug away with loads of things that we don't enjoy
As soon as you stop looking for something, he will appear.
This can be: can not meet, or: contrary to expectations
My relationship goal: have someone who becomes happy when they see me the same way Bob became happy when he spotted that truck (4:02). 🚚🤩😉

Bob do u smoke? And what would u say to those who do?
I pulled the plug on this video. Why a highway in the background?
If you pull a plug on your channels, we will be miserable.
Can you make one group in Whats up or Viber for English learners? In my opinion it’s will be very useful for us .
