Hi, can you please make a video how to program late change of a STAR ? I mean the same rwy, same airfield. Only STAR changed by ATC a few minutes before entering currently programmed STAR.. I tried this many times, but Im not able to push the same rwy button to change STAR. Is that OK, or some kind of secondary flight plan needs to be INIT first ? thanks a lot
Hi. It is actually fairly simple. When you go to FPL-Arrivals you will see the Approach type/Runway list. There press the left or right arrow key on the MCDU. That way you get into the STAR selection page without having to choose a runway
@@Blackbox711 Cant believe I have never tried to push that l/r arrow keys. Im pretty dumb :D Anyway thaks a lot and continue at this great job you are doing for us
Thank you very much for this very instructive and helpful video (also with the former video about fuel calculation). Question: how do you program the MCDU for a new "try" after a go around? What are the right procedures in such a case?
Easiest way is to activate the approach phase again in the MCDU. Then the last stored approach is called up again and the approach data (qnh, wind etc.) is also restored.
Thanks, I get all the different ways to perform a diversion, but I can’t get anything but Go Around on my MCDU. No way to input the new flight levels and get a new flight profile. Not sure if this is a FSLabs bug, or if I do something wrong. I have inserted the weights again, but that did not help. No other phases than go around.
Best aviation videos on youtube hands down!
Thank you very much 👍🏼👍🏼
Always a pleasure to be notified of another of your tutorials. This one works well with a previous divert from LHR. Many thanks!!
Glad you like it. Thank you Keith 👍🏼
Great video, as always! Thank you for everything you do for the flightsim community!

Don’t worry. The Thales MCDU is something completely different compared to the Boeing one. Thanks and Happy Landings.
@@Blackbox711 holly shit! Have been doing this on the SEC FPLN because I never noticed how to change the STAR without changin the RWY. Thank you!

Weird. That must be a bug then.
very interesting! but in the mdcu how do I start the aircraft with the engines running? ie default?
Yes, you can set the default to Engines running

Could you do a tutorial on how to make fslabs a320 cockpit not blurry? I just bought it and i have very blurry vc and poor quality.
I never had blurry VC textures in the FSLabs. May I suggest you post that problem on the FSLabs Support Forum please.
