You must be saving your boss a whole lot of money. Looks like he hit a goldmine with you, Larry. Can't wait to see what your Christmas bonus will look like.
Good job removing the Phillips head bolts. I usually use lefthand drill bits. The cheap ones from hazzard freight have done a great job for me. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming.
The shops want you to buy a compressor because they don't have mechanics. They have parts changers. When I had my auto parts store in the '80s, a rear wheel cylinder kit actually cost more than a rebuilt wheel cylinder. Same thing with a master cylinder. They wanted people to get used to buying rebuilt parts instead of fixing the broken one. It worked cause now most "techs" have no idea how to fix stuff, but they can replace it.
Good job...the tires on the front tandems look like they are may-pops!! Have the boss just order the same bracket that you need for the other truck. You could make one but buying is easier at times..
Larry, i drove truck back in the 70s, and early 80s, once i was in Los Angels, and on my way back to Indiana, i was driving an old International cabover, it was in the middle of June, and you guessed it, the air stopped working, i told my dispatch, and you probably know the outcome, i came back to Indiana with out AC, and i knew at the time it was probably the clutch, but i couldn't get it fixed, A very long hot drive home.
Larry, which part of your job do you like more. Driving the trucks or repairing the trucks? The video’s are very enjoyable either way. Thank you for the great video’s that you produce. Brian from Boston
Larry, you should pull a prank on JBG and tell him that the boss wants him to help you do some work on one of the trucks...lol. take it as far as you can....
Nice video. If you don’t mind me asking where did you find the clutch I have been searching for about two weeks for one that would work no luck don’t need compressor works fine just bearing in clutch is bad.
@@georgeww2153 hi! so i check thermobypr to see what clutches they have and they have 3 diffrent types. what s the correct part no for a evolution? :( i called them and they don t know. can u help?
man nice video!, i have the same apu but run for 5 to 10 minutes and shut down the alternator is pushing 13.9 volts, i just did apm with om parts and still doing that all fuses are good fans both working good, you have idea what else could be?
Hi Larry; Question for anyone...another owner/operator, who does heavy haul. His KW gets pretty hot on grades out west. Is it possible to put a water mister in front of the fan/ radiator that can be controlled from the cab. He has plenty of room behind the cab for a water container. Do you think it would help to mist the radiator?
Larry how is the weight loss challenge going haven’t heard you say anything about it for awhile just wondering, also John keeps saying that you have a big announcement coming soon it’s like he wants to spill the announcement but tell us that you have to make it, hope you are staying cool on these Hot days take care and stay safe
Hey man aappreciate the vids. I have a code 13 open air relay open. How can i check this or fix it since the Nashville Thermo King was completely useless in helping me after i left them for a repair

Pretty routine, doesn't make sense that Thermo King won't do it. Great tutorial video, keep them coming. Take care brother.

Good evening Larry keep safe out there and keep up the great videos coming
Where can I get a clutch? Thermoking want me to get a new compressor
I think I would have changed out those screws to Allan head. Less chance to damage them.
