I plan on making more with the AU but future maps are undecided - Thank you all so so much for the love and support you’ve given this map and me, I truly was so pleasantly surprised by it ❤
@@ZekeTheFur I thought of the concept for the map/the general script almost a full year before deciding on the song, so no I didn’t take any inspiration from the other popular map with this song. I was aware that people were going to compare the two, especially since they are both Halloween maps, so the only thing from that map that effected this one was me deliberately trying to keep them different in as many ways possible without abandoning key ideas. Without the particular song, I highly doubt people would connect the two at all, and that is why I chose to not let a preexisting map that used The Ghost with a different fandom and different characters (not to mention a different storyline) scare me away from using The Ghost. (Btw I am not at all upset that you or anyone else asked, the comparison was a risk I accepted when I chose this song)
Perils guilt came from the fact that she killed so many dragons, she never felt until it hit her that she was hurting more than just a dragon she was fighting. When she felt it for her self. pain if someone that you love dying. After osprey and kestrel died, all she could do is protect clay so he wouldn’t end up like kestrel. Enduring all that traumatic young age led her to hide all her feelings.
I've always thought about how guilty Peril must feel. She's been told by everyone else and herself that she's a monster her whole life. She feels bad even though Scarlet manipulated her into killing all of those dragons so horribly. She never got to have an actual childhood. :(
This turned out absolutely *stunning* oh my god. I’m honored to have played a part in this, I can’t stress enough how thankful I am for that. And to all the other participants: you guys really blew it out of the water, this ended up being one hell of a work of art ^^
I absolutely love maps with a metaphor like this Her guilt personified was such a good idea and this song fits it PERFECTLY! Everyone did amazing. I envy yalls talent
I love how the flame dragon is revealed not to be scarlet or even perils own subconscious but the soul of the eggs she burned as a child knowing you killed a an unborn baby before you could even talk right is messed up stellar work!

While I wasn’t actually in the map, I was proud to spectate this map as a backup! Thank you so much Quinn and all the participants who came together to make this amazingly wonderful MAP. This is definitely one of my favorites and I will be back to watch it again and again!

DANG! This is a really creative MAP!! I love the design of Peril’s Guilt! The tears and the fiery embodiment of the character represent Peril so well, and it’s a fantastic design.
Who else here has watched the bluefur and mosskit map and finds quite a lot of resemblance to that in here? Also this is BEAUTIFUL AND SO CREATIVE I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE ITTT
I loved the book _Escaping Peril_ , I think it captured a character raised to think killing was okay very well. Her difficulty fitting in with other dragons, not knowing what to do, it made me uncomfortable in a good way. She starts fighting against everything Scarlet had taught her and finding that it's not easy. She's starting to feel guilty for all the things she's done and she's not used to it. Now she's taking the steps to be herself for once, instead of belonging to someone's twisted.... fetish. I think Glory called it a gladiator fetish? Or was it Tsunami? Either way that is a good word for Scarlet's hobbies. I just love Peril because she's discovering that there is more to her than the arena. You can do so much with a character like that.
Not gonna lie, I saw the candles in the thumbnail, and skimmed the title, and I thought it said "Peril's Cult" 😂 and got really confused. This makes way more sense (and is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing work!)
OH HECK I DIDN’T KNOW IT GOT FINISHED this is absolutely awesome! The concept of this map is so cool and all the participants did such an amazing job! this is so heckin cool haha

Its sad that because of time zones the premier was in the middle of the night for me and i couldn't be there, but that turned out amazing! Everyone did an astonishing job, that map was fire (XD)! One of the best maps that ive personally seen
This has got to be my favourite WoF halloween MAP and my favourite Peril MAP! The art direction is absolutely gorgeous and all the animation is so AMAZING :D
DID ANYONE REALIZE THE AUDIO AT THE CREDITS AND STUFF WAS FROM HOLLOW KNIGHT?!?!?? Or at least I think it is, I’m pretty sure it’s the shade theme, when you die and you’re next to your shade. But this was actually amazing, I loved it and tbh the HK theme fit in pretty well. I really liked the parts 0:00 to 3:00 and the artwork from 3:25 to 3:46. Again, I enjoyed this so much and thank you to everyone who participated and the host, loved this.
