Unsubscribed. If you want to have some free and some paid content, I have no issue with that...provided you make that clear from the outset. But this bait and switch routine is sleazy, and I resent having my time wasted by your unidentified teaser videos. The fact that you place a link to the 'full tutorial' STILL does not indicate you are charging for it, and it is not visible on my mobile device unless I specifically click to expand the description. I'll stick with people like Glyn Dewis, who generously provides free tutorials while also having more in-depth content available for purchase. THAT is an honest, up front business model... unlike your sneaky, thoughtless tactics.

I hate this sleazy type of tactics as well. Not sure why people think this works. It made me unsubscribe. Thanks for the Glyn Dewis info, I will check him out :)
Still the best (and still my favourite)... The problem with the internet now is everyone expects everything - including the highest quality for free. Luckily for all of you complainers, there are a multitude of people making a multitude of rubbish, average and pretty good tutorials. Okay, he could have made it clearer it wasn't the full tutorial (and his numbers would drop). He still gives a huge amount of excellent quality away for free and he's been doing that for ages. It was less than 4 minutes and I learned how to set an action, which I have been meaning to look up... He's mentioned in other videos he's transitioning to premium. He is an artist and likely this is a difficult and worrying transition. (Probably not as difficult as spending a huge amount of time and soul on work that puts hardly any food on the table - only to deal with sanctimonious complainers who think they're doing you a great favour benefiting from your free content.) He is human... Considering all this, why not explain your point nicely instead of the full out nastiness? Is it that hard to cut him some slack after you've watched a load of his content for free? Why be obnoxious about it?

at least there is always Phlearn who is always honest with his viewers-customers and never deceives them with "bait" videos.
Me paece légitimo que cobres por tu trabajo, pero deberías de advertir cuales son los contenidos de pago y cuales los libres.

impacto Gaming I think people are upset because they clicked on the video to see a tutorial, and instead it's a bait and switch ad for the full tutorial. I can see how they can be fooled. The title says it's a tutorial, and the beginning of the description even says, "In this Photoshop tutorial I will show you how to create a nice summer sunset effect on a portrait using adjustment layers and creating nice sun light effects using gradients."
If he was more upfront with it being an ad, I don't think people would have had such a negative opinion of the video.

You cand do this in Lightroom 5x faster and you working on .nef, have more information and still have details in hightlights

Yeah, not smart to call it a tutorial..
Just put in *both* title and description that it's a "preview" or a "demo" and maybe
add the words "premium tutorial/course" as well and at least show the final result and (in the video)
a call to action to purchase the full tutorial.
That way you're upfront and it doesn't look like bait and switch _and_ you have a better
promo as well, therefore a better chance of selling.

It is so irritating, put proper title for your videos. You are talented but people will hate you if you repeat the same mistake again and again.
Two reasons why I am about to unsubscribe.
1. This is the main reason. This is not a tutorial. so your heading is misleading.
2. Why would anyone modify an image so that it looks washed out. I would be using photoshop to do exactly the opposite.
