If moisture percentage is a consideration it wouldn’t be hard to add a drier to a storage bin. You would probably be oversized if you found the smallest grain bin fan.
Technically it is not difficult, but the cost needs to be considered. Belt dryer systems can provide a reliable active drying solution. They add quite a bit to the capital cost though. Since the cost of wood chip boilers is challenging for many projects the additional cost of a drying system is often out of the question. Passive drying by stacking logs in wind rows to season before chipping is a great, low cost solution.
