CGB: "Nah this deck is not competitive, it's just for the memes" goes up from 144 to 73 in mythic rank meanwhile, me: "yeahhh i just managed to sneak into platinum with my ultra-competitive tryhard monoblue tempo deck!!!" xD man, you are the best, much love from barcelona
yeah, its defo a competitive deck, but its not gonna be round for long so building this for 2 months or so isn't worth it (if you got the cards ready i'd defo say play it as its one of the few if not only deck that beats a feather deck that has creatures)
@@Shard3432 i've already had the monoblue for 4-5 months, so i guess it has been worth it for me:D. Anyway, i don't think this deck can do much against feather, i've managed to squeeze some wins against it but in general i tend to lose.
@@espatecfuet7968 you'd expect mono blue to be one of if not the strongest against feather as well. its kinda sad, but thats how meta is right now, its only gonna get worse once half the sets rotate out and the feather deck only loses minimal things from it.
Well for one, those were good matchups for the deck. He didnt face boardwipes, etc. Another point is that in mythic, people don't always tryhard. If you watch streamers you'll see that they play a lot of fun decks. If he plays this deck in plat he would have a much harder time in a tryhard meta. Not saying the deck is unplayable but its def not something that you would bring to a tournament expecting to win.
in theory yeah, but seeing as you need to get rid of it to do the polyraptor combo, getting more then 1 at a time out can seal the fate of the game to be only a draw (you saw how getting rid of both raptors later on was the smarter play then just letting them live)
There will be, Dinosaur now ranks at 3 on the Beeble Scale (mtg.gamepedia.com/Beeble_Scale), meaning continuous support in nearly every set (the same level as Spirit, for instance).
So, for the record, the game allows for 25 iterations of an infinite loop and then asks you to break it or draw the game with one further iteration on the stack, i.e. 26 Polyraptor tokens.
I had a thought of Thud, but realized after looking that it's a Sorcery, so why not Heartfire? You sacrifice the creature to deal damage, maybe not as much panache as Thud or the OG Fling, but serves dual purpose.
Level 80. No one can have level 80 at this time without buying levels. Dedicated players who get their experience every day probably won't be hitting level 80 until September. I've seen a few here and there. Makes me wonder how much gems they either had stashed or they bought to pull it off.
Cool Deck. I always like polyraptor. I never understand the roping when players lose thing. It makes no sense. I just concede and move onto another game.
The vampire opponent actually missed a possible lethal, they did not resurrect the skymarcher aspirant, you could have bolted it but if so no polyraptor combo.
If you used forerunner of the empire instead of marauding raptor you would get exponentially more tokens and you can stop the loop at any time. All you would need to do is give it indastructable.
I love Polyraptor :D... Once I did a infinite combo until I got over 1000 polys... Game was crashing, but it was worth it :D... Anyway now it's not possible anymore :/
This deck is really cool. I like the lightning strike idea to help stop the loop. Otherwise, you could just use Forerunner and get 8 Polyraptors. I made a version of this deck here: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/polyloop/?cb=1563739911 The Nissa's help get the mana for Polyraptor faster while also flooding the field with more 3/3 land creatures. Vivien just powers up the dinos, and Shifting Ceratops helps to answer some blue counter spells while also blocking flying creatures.
Did you submit this bug to mtga? That shouldn’t happen, why should you have to lightning strike your own creature. They should allow that warning message to end the loop. Not make a draw.
You played this one badly, couldn’t even put a three card combo together, shoulda lost that last one, a black and white deck without a sweeper? You got lucky

The Jurassic Parc references were on point! Great content. It was amazing to watch the combo unfold and see how happy you were.
The timer at the end was payback for having to sit and watch 26 raptors get created
Vampire opp was a great sport, making good things such as this video possible is really good for your karma.
I think the guy just got mesmerized with the infinite polyraptors. A blue player would just concede after seeing that the loop started.

12:30 Just cast Marauding raptor then cast Ripjaw with only GG because it gets affected by both discounts and you draw two cards?

Unfortunately you cant, this is since the Ripjaw Raptor costs two specific mana, which doesn't apply through Marauding raptor.
It was nice to watch a 2 year old video.
Great to see that you improved so much since then.
Man I hope we get some more Dino support moving forward once rotation takes place. Marauding Raptor is such a neat card.
There will be, Dinosaur now ranks at 3 on the Beeble Scale (mtg.gamepedia.com/Beeble_Scale), meaning continuous support in nearly every set (the same level as Spirit, for instance).
They're building towards the new modern-ish mode as well

Glad he let it play through at the end there! Negative 116 life! epic
Enjoyed it so much.. keep the quality stuff coming, you're the man
Playing and winning with a meme deck in mythic, what a god. The funny commentary made it even better. Thanks for the fun :D
Shout out to Orophynn for being a good sport
I had a thought of Thud, but realized after looking that it's a Sorcery, so why not Heartfire? You sacrifice the creature to deal damage, maybe not as much panache as Thud or the OG Fling, but serves dual purpose.
It also gets around counters and protection effects since the sacrifice is a cost. Nice catch!
Tap tap concede at 32:12. Looks like we have a Loading Ready Run fan here.
Which dinosaur slept all day ?
The dino-snore!
The last person had a pet cat with wings :)
He must have bought a lot of levels :D Isn't that the level 80-cat? Or am I mistaking?

Ever since you mentioned this in Twitter , I’ve been waiting 😇
Would be nice to have a fling to swing the raptor on opponent face and win outright instead of risking a wipe the board.
Settle of wreckage in second mach would be such a pain
Cool Deck. I always like polyraptor. I never understand the roping when players lose thing. It makes no sense. I just concede and move onto another game.
Jeez. The vamp player was terrible. So many misplays. Great content CGB🙋
138 damage in 1 turn. Nice
Kaya's Wrath or Settle the Wreckage for real memage! That would have been hilarious!
Combo at 26:50
The vampire opponent actually missed a possible lethal, they did not resurrect the skymarcher aspirant, you could have bolted it but if so no polyraptor combo.
lol, you can decline forerunner, but also can use it to make the combo killing marauding raptor when you got 30 or 40 polyraptors
If you used forerunner of the empire instead of marauding raptor you would get exponentially more tokens and you can stop the loop at any time. All you would need to do is give it indastructable.
I've done that in a video before
Man, why u dont play with u subss, my dream play against u
The Music At 31:05 Is the BEST!
I'm only at the deck tech, but I'm going to go ahead and say that there's no way you get this combo off.

Holy fucking shit, it's a dinosaur, Jesus Christ, what the fuck?
Oh my fucking God, fucking dinosaurs, holy shit, what the fuuuuuuUUUUuuuuuUUuUUUck?
Is the Polyraptor combo only a tie on MTGA because they don't have a rule setup to stop chaining abilities or is this also true in paper magic?
True in paper as well. You cannot stop the maurading raptor because it does not say "may" you HAVE to take the action.
I love Polyraptor :D... Once I did a infinite combo until I got over 1000 polys... Game was crashing, but it was worth it :D... Anyway now it's not possible anymore :/
I might have been your opponent : /
Helllll yeah polyraptor. Such a jank card lmao
Blares the Jurassic park kazoo edition while beating his face in with raptors
The best combo on the entire game.

Lmao dude saw polyraptor get on top and just noped right on outta there
Wait isn't there a rule stating that one can't activate the same effect more than 7 times? Or am I getting confused with another card game?
Polyraptor combo has been around for a while, so ii doubt it.
This deck would be a funnier if fling was still standart
channeling Vince McMahon there.. I like it.
30:40 Jurassic park begins.
Sarkhan's Unreality would make the infinite combo kill!
they can open doors!
I see green making people scoop. I click and subscribe.
You need ghalta,primal hunger
You should make a Merfolk deck!!!!!
Awesome last match.
you need repudiate and then you can keep 100 polyraptors on the board instead of having a draw
Or a Thud instead of Lightning Strike to sac the pumped raptor and send it face.
@@gfhjkfghj4208 if only thud was an instant
Speaking of infinite combos, anyone else enjoying Kykar?
Did you submit this bug to mtga? That shouldn’t happen, why should you have to lightning strike your own creature. They should allow that warning message to end the loop. Not make a draw.
That was ridiculous
Dinos 4 Lyfe
irl i did a polyraptor and forerunner infinite combo
Meet your match esper superfriends lol
They probably waited so long because you decided to do like 400 polyraptors
"Infinite" is a _little_ bit more than 27.
Fun deck!
