I believe it’s deeper than just looks now. People’s mindset and the way they view relationships and dating is what’s keeping people single. People are scared! People are afraid of getting used, people don’t really want commitment anymore, etc. I see beautiful women and handsome men who are single. A lot of people are actually choosing to be single more now than ever. The dating scene has taken a very negative turn.
I am just coming out of a toxic (the most toxic relationship I've ever had). Not my usual type - physically and financially (he spends frivolously). Projected all his insecurities towards me. Wouldn't trust me at all, hated my job because it's predominantly a male profession, would pick fights out of nothing, says mean things, goes back and forth. I was exhausted. Thought if I gave it time, he will see my heart and my worth. Nope. Once you see red flags - run. Don't waste any more time.

I dated someone who was not my usual type and he was deeply insecure and projected that on me throughout the relationship. Obviously, he hid that at the beginning of the relationship but perhaps if I waited a year before going into a relationship with him I would see it and made a different decision. In my opinion, time is the most sensible indicator to see a person’s true intentions. Tony can you speak on this. Btw, I practice the 3 b’s whether or not I’m in a relationship. I take care of myself for me first, always.

I have an insurance license 215 , i got an Index Universal Life for my Daughter, when you are younger the price is cheaper, it has compounded interest cash value and much more ,everyone should have insurance.
Did they tell you if you draw from the cash value it will be deducted from you policy amount or cancel your policy? Or that when you pass the insurance company will give your beneficiary the policy amount only? The company keeps the cash value that was accrued. You could invest your own money in compound interest products.
I need to stop ignoring men. At this point I’m just not sure I want to even be bothered anymore. I’m tired and gave up. Cus I’m happy on my own. But as soon as some man comes along they bring dismay. I happy that some people get to find someone to love. ❤️

And I have just caught a cold due to likely we have a lot of travelers that come through. Trying to regroup after Thanksgiving week and this cold to figure out my new gym schedule esp getting dark so early at night, it's hard to think of even doing weights after work or go anywhere even if I only worj until 5 or 6. Some nights. Others are 930 which no way go straight home 😂

I wonder what dating what like in the early 2000’s I graduated high school 2008. And then, it seemed like, the technology hadn’t taken over. People were more fit because we did everything OUTSIDE and in person. Now things are expensive, everyone has anxiety and depression. And chasing a bag takes up any time to chase common sense. And so everyone is about status now more than ever…. So much to where the standards are out of reach.
I spoke to a friend the other day and said u can’t ask for a financially stable man when you’re swimming in debt and she said that’s a terrible way of thinking. Idk 🤷🏽♀️

Maybe they are other parameters but I lusted after my professor as a mature student ( I don’t like that word bbut he was taken and I guess it’s character and the fact he was warm made me attracted to him . Long story short his older colleague richer than him and in a higher professor position was single but the conversation with him doenst feel right . I think it’s not juts about status but how a man make you feel . At least for me and maybe you are right other women have no clue about how they perceive men’s energy and would just be into the status and ‘good’ looks. I wouldn’t even say he has conventionally good looks but he is good and I actually feel he is so handsome becasue of the rest . You are right I met many women who want good men but they aren’t really good themselves . They can have a good heart but they aren’t willing to do the right thing . Like not drinking , smoking or even having one night stands. The thing is that today it’s hard to find someone also if you are good because a lot of men don’t want to do good either .
