I will be honest with you, I am not too much of a fan of the boys in blue but they are the poster children of Games Workshop. That being said, Marneus Calgar is too much of a bad ass not to have in one's collection.
Yeah, these joy toy w40k figures are not cheap but I am an Ultramarines fan so the chapter master specifically is a must buy, no matter how much my wallet cries! It would be nice to have a chaplain too but I can survive ... In the Emperor's name!
Yup! This is 1000% a must buy for you. The action figure is very highly detailed and worth the $$$ spent on it. Thanks for dropping a comment and the Emperor protects!
I wish JoyToy had made this based on the previous Calgar miniature. The Finecast one that came with the Honor Guard. That one has way more detail and is overall a better design. It'd be nice if JT made a second Calgar figure based on that mini instead of the Primaris.
Thank you so much! As a content creator, I think I have to walk a fine balance between being too critical vs being not critical enough. If I'm too critical then it gets to be a bit of a burden on people who watch it because of all the negativity. If I am not critical enough, then I am not being truthful about the product and I am here to help everyone who watches my videos to make an informed decision. Either way, thank you and I appreciate you.
Absolute Chonkster. And I think it's a good piece for your collection, even by itself, simply because this is the one of the main characters in the setting for the Space Marines. A "spiritual liege" of sorts (hah, a Matt Wards joke). Great figure, great review! Love the jokes and the intro.
Thank you Brother Sable! I agree with you. There is something about having a named, unique character in your collection that is unparalleled. As with the intro, I made it a point to always do one for these special characters so look for some more in the future!
Good review but for me as a newb to the WH40K i would love to see the size comparison. Im not yet familiar with the armor types and sizes, i only know terminators should be larger than space marines :) But damn this figure looks good.
In all honesty, JT would probably make a Rhino or a Repulsor. They are VERY good at making mechs and are the only ones who made a bike, an ATV, a dreadnought so I don't see why they would not make a Rhino. I would love to see a Baal Predator...if they make one, I may pass out with excitement.
Haha! I will always do a special intro for special, unique characters. Also, unique characters should ALWAYS have cool heads because well they are bad ass!
To my limited knowledge of this matter, I don't think that these action figures are being counterfeited/ knocked off...yet... While this does not directly answer your question, I would suggest you go through legitimate outlets to get these figures. A few solid websites are Cool Toys Club and Flyimatoy. These are typically where I buy my JT WH40K action figs as they are licensed distributors of JT products
I'm sorry I have to reply in English. I agree that Calgar is a good looking action figure. I really hope that Mephiston gets made soon because he is one of my favorite characters in Warhammer 40k!
I’m not a ultramarines enthusiast, but I had to pick this guy up. He certainly looks a really nice detailed figure.

Keep the criticisms coming! For the price of these action figures, they need to be criticized more stringently. You're doing great.
