- Rumors have been swirling since last week that Donald Trump is having trouble controlling his flatulence during his criminal trial, with several people reporting that they've heard of a "putrid smell" permeating through the courtroom. I was on a long term work assignment in New York and one of the things I loved was when I was finally done with work, I could walk out of the corporate apartment and just randomly walk in any direction and I would find some new amazing restaurant after walking a few blocks or even steps. So many amazing places to eat from high end cuisine to pizza and Rueben sandwiches from delis and he goes for McDonalds. He finds new ways to embarrass Americans.

Worked at a Tastee-Freez in high school near a popular tourist destination and there were times when three huge busloads of tourists would come to the place.
We had a grill cook, a fry cook, a cashier, and a manager. All food was made when ordered, not put on a heat shelf. We'd start slapping burger after burger on the grill and get sandwich setups up as fast as we could.
And yes, there was never, ever a tip.

Not only should they be courteous and place their order earlier to allow for preparation without disruption to the other customers, but they don't even say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to mention how awful it was to spring such a HUGE ORDER on the staff of that McDonald's, and how it is something that you would normally call in ahead of time for, so they can plan accordingly. Not enough people recognize fast food workers as human beings, let alone the restaurants as places of business.
If they called ahead, those hamberders would have been used to wipe the behinds of every employee, and the Diet Coke would have had extra ingredients.
I do have a large family (6+) and in the rare occasion we hit a fast food restaurant, we know it might take up to 1/2 hour and are fine with it. Sometimes we have been served by a team, who are used to 2-3 tourist busloads (about 50 passengers each). It is a beautiful scene to see enfold and you see teamwork at its best.
