Omg I've always liked but didn't love the Classic Sonic 3D model because it didn't really capture how he came off in the classic games, especially back in the day when there was no Modern Sonic to compare to. He may have shorter (appearing) stature and stockier attributes comparatively, but he always came across, in game, as having somewhat longer limbs and smaller torso and a sharper bluer look of badassery. Artwork and cartoons aside which was just something we subconsciously understood as kids.
Now all we need is a better Knuckles model. Granted, this is far better than what most fans usually did in the past, where they just shrunk down the Modern Knuckles face and completely ignored the more sharper pointed Classic face and kept attributing the flat and wide Modern face, But I feel like they made his head look big and his dreads too small. It looks similar to the artwork sure but it comes off differently since it's in gameplay and doesn't really look quite like S3&K Knuckles. Which is interesting because the S3&K Knuckles actually looks, in game, very similar to Modern Knuckles, or rather Adventure Knuckles 2D artwork (in terms of physique that is.)
Very nitpicky stuff here. But I'm coming from an artistic standpoint. lol

Sonic's face in this mod is more in line with his design from the original sprites and animations of the 90s commercials rather than his Generations Classic Sonic design.

He's a lot closer to the sonic 3 design of sonic, which I liked quite a bit.

(I'm pretty sure every character has 2 different victory animations, but it's up to random chance if you see them or not)

This DOES look like Sonic! I don't like that nowadays they make him so adorable and cute (classic, obviously), I feel that Sonic is more badass than cute.
I know it started with Sonic Generations, but for me, Sonic Mania is responsible for establishing that Classic Sonic should be cutesy wootsy :T
