since this video is about plessie, let me tell you something about him, in bowser's fury there's a mission you must do to get a cat shine, there is a giant rabbit that can run on water for holy reasons and he also wants to play tag, you must catch him to get a cat shine, but if you noticed something about plessie, he has forward facing eyes, which is a key indicator of a predator, and most aquatic predators that are huge probably hunt by vibrations in the water, like a croc or gator, and the lake rabbit jumps on the sea surface to move around, and since plessie is almost the same size as the lake rabbit, are you sure that you're this is a game of tag?
Invisible walls are bad enough on their own, but having them added for specific characters only is even worse. Still, it was impressive how many Shines you were able to get like this!

Basically you use those staircase-like outcroppings on the front-right side of the level to get plessie up to the first area, and then there is a large invisible ? block that if you get under it with plessie and then spam jumps, you can actually glitch through the ? block and jump up to the higher platform.

Does the invisible platform on Tricity Tower only become tangible while riding Plessy? Or does Plessy fall through if you dismount while in the middle of the platform?
By being absolutely stupid, you can make it on top of Slipskate Slope with Plessie by super jumping out of a dive from where the Fury Block Shine is to get on top. Then navigate around the edge of the place to reach the blocks to make it up to the next floor. Then carefully try to make it up and not fall down. Then make your way up more blocks and you'll make it to the top (I spent like 30 minutes trying to do this). Anyways, the run probably wouldn't be possible after that anyways so ye.
If I was a game developer, I would deliberately design some places in the game to be challenging to beat while doing a chellenge like this in case anyone tries it.
I was able to 15 shines with plessie only and here's how After getting the "Five cat shines" at Pounce Bounce Isle, Fort Claptraps "Blast the Fury blocks" and the "Make the lighthouse shine" and the "Fury shadow by the shore" at Scamper Shores aswell as the tutorial shine I unlocked plessie. After this I got the "Key to the cat shine" and the "Five cat shine shards" at Scamper Shores I went to pounce bounce isle and during the time were fury bowser is attacking you are able to climb up to were the jump is before you reach the "Make the lighthouse shine" and with the block you can jump across the map and reach the shine, after this I could jump from the lighthouse and land in the "Climb to the shine" proceeding this I rode plessie out to the plessie timer challenge and got the "Hurry! Swim and Slide!" Cat shine. It was also possible to reach the "Go with the Floe" shine with a dive and then super jump out of the water skipping the annoying ice completely. At crisp climb castle I went and got 4 out of the five cat shines, I was able to get the Crisp Climb Castle "Five Cat Shine Shards because I got all the shards except the shine shard on top of the first tower because it was close enough you can send bowser junior to it and obtain the "Five Cat Shine Shards". At the Trickity Tower area the "Five cat shine shards is also possible with bowser junior you can just get all of them except the 1 under the 1st bridge and then ride plessie under the bridge I also collected the "Blast the Fury blocks" shine which was as easy as riding into it finally the 15th shine I got was the Clawswipe Colosseum I got the "Five Cat Shine Shards" by getting the middle and the shards on the top then simply riding plessie into the last shard outside the area. This was a really long comment so if you made it this far then thanks lol
The way you could make this run possible is any shine that should be possible as Plessis but there is an invisible wall they’re preventing Plessis to get to a certain area you should just get off Plessis and get the shine normally and the reason I say this is because Nintendo‘s dumb and puts invisible walls in areas so Plessis can’t get to them, or you could just use a 3-D world editor and get rid of them that works too

But plessie is still stuck on the invisible floor because it's for plessie

I’ve been able to 36 shine by abusing shells and bowser jr, but I doubt 50 is possible
you only need 40 if you grab a shine every time bowser is there so he gets damaged
