someone did. the giant bunny kangaroo lady he saved spoke out for him. so did other civilians. even that star head guy (the one in the first episode who told midoriya that he could be a hero) was there. some tried to say "why doesn't midoriya go to the other schools or safe havens?" but someone else called them out, saying that it was just putting the burden onto someone else.
