Actually that's my theory of what's wrong with sports gaming since around 2008. I believe with the tech world booming they have literally hired kids on the cheap to develop these games. People who know nothing about the essence of America or what sports means to us. Detached people with the brains but no passion or understanding of what makes it great. Plus the fact the lack of competition has killed any desire to make a great product.

That seems a bit too far. If they would go undefeated for the rest of the season and Caitlin outplays A'ja then i could maybe see that. For now it's hard to overlook the turnovers and the bad defence, also don't give into recency bias, her season start was pretty bad. The more realistic accolade is 1st time All-WNBA

Make sure you watch the Fever/Aces games. Sept 11th and Sept 13th. The MVP going to win both games.
The 2K Ratings are always disrespectful no matter what sport is featured.
People who do these do not watch the games and do not know the players
CC fans are delusional. Being one of only 2 players out of 140, averaging a double double actually helps your statistics. Meanwhile 188 turnovers pulls down your off rating.And since CC is already ranked 114 in the league on defense, her 2k rating isn't a surprise to the unbiased.

How is Reese a 90 when she can't make layups? She has no middy to speak of and doesn't have the capacity to make 3's. She is an average free throw shooter with inconsistent shooting form. She has zero handles and has double dribbled on fast breaks. Rebounding is its own stat on 2k so just set that to its highest value and scale everyone else down accordingly in the Rebounding category. She can't run the floor and isn't super fast either. She has been played long enough to be prime Reese so we only have her current production to reference. Her defense is below average as she gets cooked without help. She doesn't pass enough to Gove a good baseline. So passing accuracy should be somewhere around 68 or 70 to indicate that she is capable of a decent pass but it isn't her specialty. She is no A. Boston. Other than Rebounding and marketing skills that you could maybe argue show intelligence to raise her basketball iq stat. If you are being generous you can give her higher physical attributes to make up for her lack of everything else, but even then that's not a 90. Most of her offensive stats should amongst lowest in the W as she is not an efficient offensive player. Her defense should also be much lower. Her overall should average in the low 80's or high 70's if you boost her physical stats to max. Most certainly not a 90. That's disrespect to every other player in the W.
140 players in the W. Only 2 are averaging a double double. Means nothing to CC fans but in the real world it means you're better than average.

I’m still picking this up to play as the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark. Can you adjust the stats? I’m waiting till Thanksgiving when it usually drops to 10 dollars. They did raise CC to 91, so I’m sure there will be adjustments.

95 for Brittney Griner when copper is the best player on that team, I think those rate rating seats to be switched copper as it is at least a 95 but Brittany, maybe a 91 but copper is the only one who consistently actually shows up for that team

The ratings were probably added when the game was programmed. If there is an online update for the ratings and they are still that low for CC, then the game writers are not the sharpest tools in the shed.

Reese should be am 85 mostly coming from her offemdive reboinding which should be 95 while her offense should be low-mid 80s

Hey Mick … here’s a thought that might need a little investigating.
And let me say I am NOT an AR fan but I’m not a hater either.
Given how bad she’s been shooting from the field, what do you think her assists would be if she got those offensive rebounds and dished em to her teammates to possibly shoot and score? I mean in those 20 rebound games or games where she’s shooting below 25%, I don’t think it’s inconceivable that AR could STILL get her dbl-dbls but via Rebs-Assists!
Additionally, giving up the ball to her teammates shooting better than her gives them more points which could lead to more wins, foster a TEAM first mentality making the Sky a more potent team, better team morale would probably mean Mabrey is STILL a Sky player!
If I were her coach I’d tell AR she gets 3 missed shots. Once she gets there she’s passing the ball to a teammate! I’d tell her WHEN (in a game) she’s allowed to shoot again! In practice I’d work her ass off on improving rebounding and passing the ball out to an open teammate and work on her court vision and awareness. Then I’d tell her she can work out ON HER TIME to improve her shooting! The team will provide a shooting coach to help her on her form and technique.
Or … she can work on her personal brand and ride the bench!
