Neat 8-) 96rpm might be a bit quick for the largest of diameters, and I think i would want that taper bearing in a seat to support it if I were loading it loading fully.
Yeah that 96rpm is just the startup point with 50hz and I can shift it up and down with frequency converter. But actually with CBN inserts, the surface speed at the edges may not even be too high. And I considered a seat for the bearing, but since the bearing itself weights close to 4kg, I though that its unnecessary, but we'll see 😁
