Excellent RUclips video my bro. It’s amazing how many of the Maori words you use sounds like Cook Islands words. I have always told my wife that the our Maori words for everything eaten or used in the old days sounds the same and the only reason it changed is because it became written and different people interpreted sounds differently. A lot of the New Zealand Māori words has the letter W and if you change it to the letter V it’s how we Cook Island’s Māori will say it. From a Aitutaki Cook Islander
