Lead singer is Ross Wilson, another Australian music icon who deserves so much praise. His voice just melts your heart. His previous band was Daddy Cool. He also helped another band called Skyhooks produce an album. They were a huge band here too. Merry Christmas to you both. 🌲✨

Ross Wilson has been a great musician and song writer. He wrote Touch of Paradise which was originally released by Mondo Rock but made famous by John Farnham as one of his huge hit singles from Whispering Jack in 1986.
Still on the radio here in Sydney. This song is an aussie classic!

I was very lucky to have been about 10 years old at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney it was 90-91 and the late night entertainment was huge, Mondo Rock, Cold chisel - featuring Diesel, Australian Crawl, Richard Clapton and of course the Oils....of course at 10 I had no idea of how huge that line up was and I dont think the evening entertainment happens anymore. These bands were epic and still are for us 80s and 90s kids

The clip was shot whete i grew up Maroubra Beach. That is the old pavilion in the back ground that burnt down a year after this was shot. Great memories memories, it was a rough area and made beach territorial pissing in Point Break look like kindergarten
