Lenten season for me plus excerpts from the brilliant scholarly men of days gone by awaken my mind to accept what I cannot change, rely on Jesus, Blessed Virgin Mary for forgiveness of my past…….finding comfort in life that is dealt to me……..Peace, love and happiness
The words themselves could be enlightening, though the message is so quickly squashed by the mechanical nature and breakneck speed of the narration. It sounds inhuman. It felt vacuum sealed, without breath, difficult to hear. When a person is tasked to listen so quickly, hearing in a hurry with no interval or pause designed for reflection or personal application, the meaning of the material is unsupported. The subject becomes unmemorable, perhaps even unpleasant. Please slow down, at least enough that the material can truly be heard and your tribute to God and to Lewis appreciated. C.S. Lewis did an amazing service to God and mankind by tickling human imagination into a growth medium and vehicle of illustration. He painted pictures in the mind of the listener/reader that developed in due course over the duration of his storytelling. He understood the productive pace of thought. Consuming knowledge and cultivating wisdom can be compared to dining. Devouring a purely healthy feast too rapidly clogs digestion and induces pain. Eating the same feast with the nuance and seasoning of patience will nourish and satiate, energize and inspire. You are absolutely correct and in keeping with the word however I do think this is helpful to see what a life looks like that genuinely "believes" and does not just recite a creed and lend intellectual assent which I am afraid is not uncommon.
You need to remove the AI, slow down the narrative and give these videos a more spiritual tone. If Lewis or indeed God was trying to speak to us, it would not be in this current format. Please put some feeling and spiritual pauses for reflection. As it is now, it does nothing but add to the noise of many other videos.
