I see these same ranges with the exact front control pattern with other branded names costing a lot less. For example the same Janska or Cosmo, Thor, Kutch, etc. Kutch and Janska are identical and one costs around 3000 dollars and the same model labeled as Kutch costs over $6000.00 so what gives? What can I rely on?
My guess is that they use the same manufacture but the specific companies might have minor requirements that make them slightly different. We got ours for 2999 in Southern California from www.appliancekitchenoutlet.com/products/forno/ffsgs615648.html. You should probably look to see how the warranties compare. I know that forno.ca has a 2 year limited warranty. Good Luck!
So far we have noticed them being warm but not uncomfortably warm. I have heard that Forno is replacing them with more heat resistant knobs if you complain about it.
@@FernandoC yeah I saw that in the threads. I didn't know if the overheating knobs and body was limited to full gas range or if it included the dual fuel as well

We were redoing our kitchen so our contractor installed it but they were not experts and it seemed pretty straightforward. You basically need to be able to have enough people to move it and bring it in and make sure it's leveled and make sure the gas connection is the right one.

We really love it but it's pretty basic as it's not fancy in anyway. It does have convection but it does not have timers or anything. Low bake does cook a little hot in the bottom so we place a pan to diffuse some of the heat, but other than that, it's been great for us.
