- Eight Progressive Aerodyne Searey's took a 5 day trip to the Bahamas in November 2018 along with Steve McCaughey and Mark Twombly from the Seaplane Pilots Association. Videographer Brad Fuller from Florida Film and Tape documented the adventure.

Looks like a great trip. I need to get off my butt and buy a seaplane like I have been telling myself to do.

what an awesome way to do the joy of two of my favorite things...flying and island hopping...add beaches and I'm so sure. Moving to FL this summer and will be saving hopefully $22,000 a year so I will start learning to fly again (got 23 hrs in Taylorcraft and 1 hr in Cessna 150. Also got 4 hrs in sail plane but amphibians are my No.1 dream).

THE SEAREY is the best value for money , one can pick up a good second hand one for under $100 000. the IONIC on the otherhand is almost $400 000!!!
I can’t understand how anyone could justify paying almost half a million for an ICON when this thing is just as capable (and nicer looking in my opinion) for around $100k or under
