What a lot of people will love but not understand about this woman is very simple. She lives by principle, and everything in her life has a reason and meaning, yet nothing more. Modest means, humble abode, her exercise is her survival, and her enjoyment is the yield from that. No arrogance of having to have lucrative careers, oversized vehicles, unnecesary gigantic homes, and clothing with pricetags on it that still has not been worn. She is real, mentally stable, physically healthy, and spiritually fulfilled. Its the way people were in America when they first come here, like your grandparents. A lot can be learned here, but over educated people full of nonsense in their heads that allow their will to run riot, will snicker and laugh, and say not me. These are the ones destroying the planet.I pray she is safe from harm of the war.......

Her cooking is so much like watching my mother and I'm 76 years old.
She might live alone but she definitely has a community of people in her village all working together. I think it's wonderful to show all her workings day in and day out but I can tell you she is not alone all the time.
It's possible dear, me I live alone at the farm. My children join me during holidays.
Once in a month you can just hire people who can come clean up, dig and go.

The natural sounds are wonderful. I think I hear the wind and also the sound of rushing water. My grandparents both came from Bohemia in the Czech republic. I like to think that this was a part of their world although not the same country. Thank you for this very special documentary.

In USA these are called crepes, and can be savory or sweet. Blessed to be in rural Michigan and get raw fresh dairy from a herd share. Making yogurt tonight, with raspberries added in. Yum! This was so nice...loved your flowers. God bless!!

Mi hermosa y bella dama que vive sola en algún y lindo lugar del planeta ... hace milagros con sus lindas manos en la cocina con tan sólo lo que tiene a su alcance ... pero no vive sola ... y quien le corta esa montaña de leña para cocinar y con quien comparte esas deliciosas panquecas que preparó ... no se las come ella sola ... de todas maneras la admiro igual ... Uma vida calma, saudavel e boa. Mas realmente ela nao mora sozinhA. Ha uma casa principal, a casinha azul de onde ela sai mas nao entra. Da pra perceber que esta segunda casa onde poe as flores que colheu eh supostamente sua casa ou utilizada para parecer que seja e ha outros detalhes como ja mencionado, como a lenha cortada. Certamente a casinnha principal possui tv, microondas, fogao eletrico ou a gas. Mas muito gostoso o video e admiravel a escolha de vida feita pela moca. Parabens.
Si pienso lo mismo no vive sola ya que el otro día mire un video y escuche a unos niños como si estuvieran jugando y vi correr a uno rápido por su puerta de cocina

Very tranquil peaceful life. Exactly as was my life up to age 8 in Croatia. We made and still do in Australia pancakes and filling like she does. I fondly recall that simple life!!

I love how different buildings in the property serve as different functions.i.wonder does she always cook in the smaller shack,or does she have any cooking appliances in the main house.i have seen most of the videos where she is cooking in the smaller building.is that a tradition in ukraine.also as remote as it is in the mountains,I notice that there is electrical wire for electricity and a satellite dish on the house.living the old school way with some modern amenities.what a great life to live.away from the stressful hustle and bustle lifestyles Americans live.she takes great pride in her way of life and traditions.

@@T.M.O my grandma in Poland was the same exact way. She was COOKING all nature. Same house same kitchen and same bed. So lovelly bit then we did not know what had and my grandma was making those blints and pierogi all the time.
Then it wouldn't be a wonderful peaceful life. Tourist are like spoiled children.
That would be more work for her though and she seems busy enough... just saying..

I am sure this isn't always an easy life but I think she has more freedom and happiness than the rest of us who are slaves to needing money to just have the basics in life like running water, electricity or gas. I wish I had the ability to live like this lovely woman.
