She reminds me so much like my mom when mama was younger and still here. My mom grew up in the farm and worked the fields hard and she was so resourceful too. She taught us to love homegrown vegetables and not to throw away anything that could be fried, baked, boiled or canned and all this while raising 9 children by herself. Let’s learn from all the strong women in the world who aren’t afraid to get there hands dirty and really work for a living. 💝

My mother is 92, lives alone, my father away 20 years ago, raised and fed 7 children on dad's army sergeant pay, I remember her taking in ironing (10 cents a shirt), she still makes the best potato soup ever! Tough, no nonsense women, cannot help but admire and respect them. Hope Maria is safe in Ukraine!

The 'lives alone theme' is a farce. She is a very strong, capable woman. However everything around her, including having a camera person, give unquestionable evidence that she is definitely NOT living alone. Just the amount of firewood she consumes vouches for that. Regardless, this is a wonderful series. Thank you!

What impressed me most about this video which I like so much is this gentle woman, and particularly her skill in doing everything she does: cooking, attending her vegetable garden etc. she is a precious example for me. She has no comfort ,but despite this she does everything so quickly and properly… It happens when I prepare food for my family I often complain because I feel tired. Wow. Nothing better than home cooking, out in nature. We take so much for granted, and have gotten away from being sustainable and less wasteful. The scenery makes you want to take it all in, and assist in the preparation of a hearty meal. I would have enjoyed sitting next to her and sharing a bit of her tasty and savory dish.

I thought so too, but look what she prepares and a big blue house and another place where she cooks plus the animals and property to care for. Her wood pile is humongous so I find it hard to believe she's alone. In saying that, she's amazing.

Watching this video seeing maria at work , reminds me of my nan, we moved in with her in the 70s , nan and her house were still in the 40s , as a boy i spent hours just watching her, always cooking , always busy , home grown everything and the taste of her food was even now in my 50s unequalled , mostly lost skills in the modern world, so lovely to see those skills still being used , that food looked delicious, can i move in please. Оксана, посмотрите ссылку. У Марии гостиничный бизнес. С чего вы взяли что она живёт одна не зная страха! Там целый хутор, люди рядом живут. И помогают, работают на этот же бизнес. Я сама с сельской местности, у меня вот вопрос, а почему картофель на половину зелёный? Они, что его не окучивают? И что они с ним делают, он же содержит яд - солонин. Или типа экотуристы и такой схавают.

REGARDLESS, She is a very beautiful and corageous woman...such a hard worker, such peace contentment, she doesnt get to door dash or curb side from Walmart, or at that, not even a nice resturant dinner that is so much deserved..I feel super blessed to live here and have all these benefits...but I do love the way she lives and seems like such a lovely giving woman, God bless her always...peace on earth!❤❤❤❤

I would love to live by that beautiful river and the sound it makes would make me sleep like a baby; however, I think the sound it makes would also make me run to the bathroom about every 30 minutes. I love watching her prepare meals using things that she grew and preserved herself! Sadly, in my country, the vast majority of us would starve to death if the grocery stores shut down because we stopped learning how to be self-sufficient a few decades ago. Too bad. Hello from Indiana USA. I grew up on a farm when I was young but I am 67 now and live alone in the city. I miss the farm life and often think I would like to get a small farm but worry if I can do it at my age. You are an inspiration dear, and clearly we can do what we must and determined to do. Here in the US we pray that these conflicts between countries will soon come to a peaceful end.🙏 Those dill pickles look good. I love dill pickles too.
