Juha discusses the two types of hair systems he has been wearing since he began his hair system journey a year ago. He also shares why he prefers glue over tape and the differences between showering in a lace hair system compared to a thin skin one.

Which do you prefer to wear and why? Thin skin or lace?
I got thin skin from a company and so disappointed as you could see the edges, id be looking for an ultra thin skin or go back to lace
Lace or skin I need 30% gray hair in it ,...on dark brown
I am currently using a 0.06 Skin system, which means my skin is not super thin like the 0.03 version. However, I do have my own hairline, so the system starts 1 inch back from it. Unfortunately, my natural hairline is deteriorating, so I am planning to get my hairline fixed in Turkey and then use a lace system afterwards. I find the benefits of the lace system more appealing to me.
@@vaastafraja5685 Thanks for sharing Vaastaf and we hope you enjoy your lace hair system when you get it!
I love this guy's system as this is exactly the kind of style I'd want.
Me too!
I love these videos so much, and the words "for a better you" really resonated with me, because I hate that I am that superficial, but when I lost my hair, a big chunk of my self esteem went with it. My consult and color match appointment for my first hair system is January 5th and I can already feel a hint of self confidence returning to myself. Very excited to begin this journey! Thanks for making these videos
Enjoy the journey, Michael!
Do most salons do hair systems consultations?
@@shaner5949there’s only a few. There’s one by Denver 2 in nyc that I know of.
You look absolutely phenomenal!! Wow. I would love to have a system like this ♥️
I absolutely love this! Great video thank you. So natural and handsome guy
I like how your share your experience
I use a mono. It's been 2 years and the system still looks great.
Where do you get your hair from?
a mono?
I learned an easier trick. Run the sink with warm to semi hot water with 2in one shampoo/conditioner it will make the glue form together and you can peel it off the lace almost like a face mask peel without it breaking apart and being so messy and sticky. I think the excessive alcohol ruins the base I've learned
Thanks for sharing this method, Shamar!
Excellent video. Thanks x
You’re so beautiful! And such an amazing personality. You should make lots of videos, it’s fun to watch you. ♥️👏
Glad you like the video Jonny! Be sure to check out our channel as we have lots and lots of videos by Juha! 😍
I'd like to order this exact style for myself
Thank You for sharing…
Looks awesome Man!
nice bro , its looks natural on u
my hairsystem is similar to yours. But its full lace, can i add a manbun? and how would i attach it?
the skin base has medium density or light density ?
I’m switching to lord hair now… I was doing local and they were charging $300 a month with only 3 systems a year … this included a haircut that sucks and they are never available when you need them …
who are you switching from?
Wow that's shockingly expensive
Were you satisfied with your order from Lordhair?
lord hair systems are about 300 bucks or more
Thanks for the info. It was very useful. Which type do you recommend to a beginner? I’m trying to learn as much as possible before I make my final decision.
Hi Rafy - beginners might find skin hair systems a better choice since the attachment and clean-up process can be easier.
My tape turns really goopy after just 7 days and is very hard to get out and gos into my side hair and makes me lose even more hair, I use the best tapes too, other tapes are even worse grrrr my luck!
Some tapes have high residue. If you look on a distributor site like holistique (others are available!) that have a decent range of takes you'll see some will be branded for "natural hold" or similar they have less hold time but they are better for you skin. I prefer clean more often but it be less of a mess. The problem with the "long hold" concept for me is it can't possibly be hygienic and the long hold tapes make a right mess and gets into the hair. Best option altogether is juse use adhesive like safe grip but it's not cheap.
What kind of lace is the lace one?
Love
Love his accent
Yess, do you know where it is from?
Cool video. About the got2b glued, do you apply to the system or your head? Do you let it dry before attaching or attach straight away?? Definitely going to try this! So the system you use is the 0.06mm, have you tried the 0.03 also and how long does the 0.06mm last you on average?? BTW, you can dry your system in a salad spinner after washing.
The salad spinner is a great idea . Does is get your system 100% dry ?
@@nickmazer2900 not 100% dry but it gets out a lot of the water, the airdrying takes less time. If I need to wear it directly I just blowdry the inside of the base for 30 seconds and reattach with tape
He is the ultimate yum yum❤️
Thanks for that suggestion! Here's a video of Juha's hair system routine. You can see that he applies the glue to his head: ruclips.net/video/PEEZPKJVzLg/видео.html. And Juha hasn't actually tried 0.03mm (our UTS model) yet.
Isn’t that product just a type of “hair gel?” I’m curious if it really works.
You missed to put close picture of hair Line using lace
How pronounced is the difference in contour shape between Standard A and CC? I can't find any information on this.
Hopefully, this page helps, Matthew! www.lordhair.com/custom-options/front-contour.html
Lace!
Interested in a Lace base, goin fir slick back hair style look. Dark brown hair. How much woukd cost and is the box its shipped in disclosed?
Hi Chris - have you checked out our site as we have lots of lace options there: www.lordhair.com/. Plus, we're in the middle of our Black Friday Sale. As for the box, then you wouldn't me to tell that you had ordered from us/a hair system. Our customer service team can shed more light on this.
unrelated: A piece of art would look great above your couch.
Got2 Glued? How do you apply it to your scalp. and attach?
Hi Ken - yes, got2b Glued is what Juha uses and he uses it just like you would hair system glue. Don't expect it to work with lace bases though.
Does the skin one not allow any air inside so the moisture just stays under it? Can you develop mold on your hair/ scalp? Why does it only last 3 months?
It allows a lot less air than a lace hair system as you can see here: ruclips.net/video/fHOwvL7klYk/видео.html.
We know of no experiences of any mold build-up but removing your hair system and cleaning your scalp is a big part of your hair system routine. Finally, different hair systems have different lifespans - it all depends on their design and how they're made.
Please feel free to reach out to us at support@lordhair.com or through our live chat service as we'll be happy to answer all of your questions.
@@Lordhair Thanks so much!
Hi The style you are wearing here was it precut as I cannot find that on the lord web site can you tell me or link me to this please.
That one was cut and styled at Juha's local salon.
It’s a box !
COULD YOU TELL HOW LONG THIS SYSTEM WILL LAST?CAN IT TAKE A YEAR?
Both hair systems lean towards realism rather than durability and both should last around 3 months but this is not an exact figure. It really depends on the individual.
hii amazing video btw but i find it a bit unfair im here in south africa and for me to buy it here its like 2000 dolllars here is there any way i can get a sponsor and do a thank u video
Glad you like the video, Tyrel! Are you saying it would be the equivalent of that amount in South Africa? Please just get in touch with us at support@lordhair.com because we wouldn't want you to feel priced out.
what is the very first video i should watch on this subject? i have no idea what is lace or skin and their differences
Yes, there's a lot to take in! We have a couple of playlists that may be a good place to start. You can can scroll through them and pick out videos that seem most relevant: ruclips.net/p/PLeDGrtZMluE2kXZoHhtPgXCpIAdzvHVty and ruclips.net/p/PLeDGrtZMluE06-Dvh49Zh2Gh9Y93QxUwE
@@Lordhair thank you so much!
@@ufufu001 You're welcome! Hope you find them helpful!
What type of hair did you buy? Remy, Indian, European?
These hair systems both have non-Remy Indian human hair.
When you get the system is obviously not styled so do you that yourself or do you put it on and go to a salon to get it cut
Our hair systems come uncut so you would have to go to a salon to get it cut (unless you were capable of cutting the hair yourself). However, we also offer a haircut service so we can actually cut and style the hair before shipment: www.lordhair.com/custom-options/hair-cut-in.html.
Hi, is that gotobe glue better than strong bond?
Hi - it really depends on the wearer and what they want from their glue. got2b is just what Juha prefers and what works best for him.
If using tape do you leave it on at night and when Showering.
Yes, you do, but it seems the answer is really, yes, you can shower/sleep in a hair system whether you use tape or glue.
hey question. I have a receding hairline. and wanted to try one of these out and see how i feel. how do you wear the glue if you have hair already? do you use a shower cap or something? and how long can you keep the glue in for?
The glue can only be applied to a shaved scalp so you'd have to shave the whole of the top of your head. Or, you could use a clip-on hair system. However, you may want to think about a frontal hair system as you would only need to shave the front part of your hair: www.lordhair.com/frontal-hairpiece-super-thin-skin-base.html.
@@Lordhair so the clip one I wouldn’t need to shave at all?
Correct. This video might give you some idea on the amount of hair that works with clips: ruclips.net/video/FdK046gvxEw/видео.html
@@Lordhair thank you so much, yeah because basically for my I have a ton of hair in the back /sides it’s mainly my two right /left are receding. So I’ll look into it!:D
@@Lordhair I watched the video but I had a couple questions, would I need mine as short as his? Because I want to go for a longer hair look.
Do you guys know any stylists or salons in Tallinn or anywhere else in Estonia by any chance?
We don't, unfortunately, but if there are any salon owners in Tallinn reading this then please get in touch!
@@Lordhair no one there is gonna read this
Where do I get the got.2b staff?
Hi Robert - there's a good chance you could find it in your local pharmacy/drug store or wherever you buy your cosmetics. If not, there's always online.
with the lace system... is it possible to wash your hair with it on in the bath without it coming it of.... and how many washes till they start to fall of 🤔
Yes, it's perfectly possible but as with whenever you're handling your hair system, you will have to be careful. As for how long until you see shedding then that first of all depends on the base design and hair ventilation method of the hair system but also, on your own habits and techniques.
@@Lordhair sweet...thanks 👍👍
You're welcome!
Ok about glue got2b, i hear from girls that it’s very easy to slide out when your skin get wet, like go to the gym ???
Looks great dude! How long is a champion lace usually lasting?
And why not both?
You should blend 3.0 uts front countour with swiss back and middle area. That would make the ultimate definitive hair system
With swiss fresh & comfort and ust front realism.
It"s been like 10 years since uts came out and we have the same old design and old sweat issues.
I guess you are providers, not sure if you manufacture or design the actual thing but the fact that you haven't came up with the idea of
blending uts in front and swiss lace back tells me either you are only resellers or you won't listen customers. Reselling is not wrong but please make manufacturers and designers see the obvious perfect solution for us.
They do sell mixed systems with lace back and poly edges.
@@seanmccready9564
Yeah but It is not uts (ultra thin skin)
That poly they use in the mixed systems they sell is the thinker one and it is noticeable, on the other hand uts is only 0.3. thick, it is the best, and the only realistic poly for the frontline. They don't sell that mixture with swiss.
Swiss lace back - UTS (ultra thin skin) edges
They only sell uts full cap.
Hi Marco - yes, you're right. We use 0.06-0.08mm poly when in combination with other base materials. Unfortunately, we could only offer what you suggested as a custom-made hair system.
@@Lordhair Good to hear that at least this can be ordered custom-made, that's something, I'll try to order one that way in the future. Thanks!
is breathable a lace or skin hair system?
Hi Josh - lace is much more breathable than skin if that's what you're asking as you can see in this video: ruclips.net/video/fHOwvL7klYk/видео.html. Of course, you can get skin bases with different thicknesses so that will affect their level of breathability.
CN you still workout with thin skin tho ?
A Skin system any day.
Prefer the ones with bangs and no shaved sides.b
The hair in the skin system falls out very quickly, in about a month or so. You will need a new system every other month or every month which is very expensive!
For the thinnest hair systems, it can do, but really, it depends on the thickness of the poly material and the hair ventilation method. It also depends on the habits of the individual wearer.
@@Lordhair I have worn the .03 MM system since 2020, the hairs flies out. If the habit of the user is shampooing then this is not realistic.
@@edgetown1 We do actually give a lifespan of around one month for our UTS. The UTS also becomes cheaper if multiple units are bought at once but we appreciate that a lifespan of around one month will not be ideal for many.
As for habits, shampooing is definitely one aspect but habits include all aspects of wearing a hair system so think, brushing techniques or whether you use a silk pillowcase, for example.
@@Lordhair Yes I do all that. One month is a too short and it will cost well over $4K per year. And the system will by thin by the third week. What is the next level up from the UTS?
OK, good to hear.
Unfortunately, the more realistic the hair system, the shorter the lifespan. You'll actually find that 12 UTS's cost $2K a year (if you were to buy six or 12 units at a time) but of course, that could be more than you or others wish to pay. So, as an alternative, we do have poly hair systems with thicker bases like 0.06mm or 0.08mm, for example. They will last longer. You are welcome to discuss these options with your customer service rep.
Blond dracula
Silk top is the next big wave. Pu is out, zero ventilation and super smelly.
